Terrible place, BEWARE. Paid for the more expensive kennel , but my dog was put into a small crate. I also knew someone have a dog killed there.

I have a friend who worked for this place and have met a few employees from my friend. All of the employees know what they are doing, its the owner/manager that are stupid. They overbook dogs on holidays and weekends and throw them in whatever kennel/crate they can find. It doesn't matter if you wanted the big expensive room, they will move your small or well behaved dog to a crate and use that room for another dog. If its too hot or too cold out the dogs just get let outside quick to "potty" and then are back inside their rooms. Your dog may be in his 4x4 room for 23 hrs a day! They offer a shuttle service from their salon and will often times "forget" dogs things at the salon so your dog is without their own bed/toys or even food and meds! The owners think they know what they are talking about when it comes to dog behavior or nutrition but a simple internet search will give you the same answers they do. I would trust the employees I have met to take care of my dog but not under the "rules" of the owners.

Pros: The employees genuinely care about the dogs.

Cons: They overbook and lie to customers.

My family and I have been taking our pets to Precious Pets for over 3 years now. We have toured other boarding kennals, and nothing compares to this fecility. They have 4 large yards, one just recently added. The kennals are roomy enough to fit more than one pet in each. Everytime we get close to the place to drop our dogs off, they start getting excited and waggging their tales. My parents, my sisters and my friends all take their dogs to precious pets and they love it! My dogs always come home looking happy, and I recommend this place to everyone!

Pros: Clean, safe, fun

Cons: Fills up fast in summer weekends and holidays

These people don't just "misrepresent" things -- they lie. When I took my dogs there, the place stank of feces and urine, even though the check-in person told me the dogs had been out a short time before to play and relieve themselves. The stench was nearly unbearable. The clincher was when I asked her to show me where they planned to keep my dogs -- it was in the hottest part of the kennel that had extremely poor lighting (if any). When I saw the cages, I asked where their water bottles were. She said they didn't have any. I had been told the day before by the owner that they had water bottles and again a short time before I took the dogs out there that they had water bottles. I'd offered to bring some if they didn't have any because one of them in particular won't drink from anything else. No problem, I was told on the phone. Now, the check-in person was telling me they didn't have any water bottles and had never had water bottles. I'd been blatantly lied to -- just as the pictures on their website are a lie. (The dogs playing are their dogs, playing in their own yard, not the kennel yard.) I guess they figure that the dogs can't tell tales, so they'll just say anything to get you to leave yuour dogs there. If you're even tempted to leave your dogs there, take the drive and see for yourself what a hell hold you'll be putting our dogs in. I'm glad I did. My dogs came home with me. I wouldn't leave my garbage in their kennel, much less my dogs. It ought to be shut down.

Pros: None

Cons: Unclean, misrepresented, unsafe for dogs

When I read the brochure for this location, the sizes of the rooms seemed very roomy. Only on paper. The rooms are nowhere near the size that's claimed. Instead of a 5x5 condo, the condo is closer to 3x3. That's a difference of 16 square feet. The suites are not 8x10 as claimed - they're more likely 4x7. Of course, that's if you get the room you're paying for. I've had friends tell me their dog was being kept in a condo instead of the suite they booked, or have come back to find their pet in the hallway in a plastic kennel. Never again.

Pros: Visually appealing
