St. Cecilia is a small Catholic school in the heart of Oakley, right off of Madison Rd. My daughter, now in 3rd grade, has attended this school since kindergarten and we love it! Because it's small, we know every teacher in the school (K -8th grade), which is really comforting, even if my daughter doesn't have classes with the upper class teachers, yet. The small size also helps you to know most of the other students, in all the grades. St. Cecilia is very big on parental involvement, which I happen to like (there are 20 "service hours", i.e, volunteer hours), required from the parents. I am not Catholic (my husband and daughter are), and I admit to not loving all the Catholic education my daughter receives, but I do love the very basics of a religious foundation that the school gives. They are very big on being kind to one another, following rules, and respecting people regardless of their looks or material wealth (or, lack thereof). Uniforms are required, and sometimes you feel like you spend half your time fund raising (which can be a pain, I admit), but overall, I give this school 4 and 1/2 stars.
