My friend and I enjoyed the sushi at this restaurant; however the waitress asked us to leave "so they could use our table for a group." We had only been in the restaurant eating for 40 minutes or so! How rude is that? In addition, this large group had only been waiting for a short time. The food was good, but it was not enough to make up for the rude service. I would never darken their doorstep again.

This could easily become one of my new favorites in the K.C. Metro area. While it might not be the coziest sushi joint I've been to, the fish was very fresh (the owner was actually carving the filets off of several different kinds of fish when we sat down), it was a nice looking place and the owner/sushi chef was very friendly! The presentation of the food is also probably the finest around. Officially in my top 3 in K.C.!

Pros: VALUE, QUALITY, VARIETY, OWNER/OPERATOR

Cons: slow service

I first heard about this restaurant from the Pitch and had to try it. One of the very best sushi places in Kansas City, hands down. The Greenwich roll, Dragon roll(made to look like a dragon) and the Spicy Tango roll(hot hot hot) are my favorites. The restaurants specialty roll is the Hot Temptation roll. Don't be fooled though because it is neither spicy nor temperature hot. It is a sweet roll and a wonderful creation of the owner. Also, you have to try the ZiPang. It's a wonderful chilled Sake. I love the atmosphere as the Husband and wife that own it are always there working. Super nice people! I highly recommend this to everyone I know!!

Pros: Best sushi! Great variety! Wonderful Atmosphere!

Cons: It is a nice tiny place so they don't have any private rooms for big groups.

I have tried many Sushi bars and restaurants in Kansas City and so far this is the best I have tried. The sushi is fresh and not luke warm like some other sushi places. The price isn't bad either. For the quality of sushi you are getting its well worth it. For sushi I don't go any where else. Also you should try the other items in the menu they are also very good.
