I just stumbled upon this great little sandwich shop a few months ago...and can't get enough. The owner is usually there and is very nice and helpful. They have a fantastic assortment of items on their menu and all the ingredients taste fresh and healthy. I am addicted and have a new place to hang out. Free wifi, with smooth jazz playing in the background, this place has a great vibe. Very clean. They also have seating outside and pump their music outside as well. The only negative is that they close at 3:00. I wish they would stay open for dinner. The owner said they might extend their hours. Crossing my fingers!

Good bagels (Oval Office with the hot sauce is unbeatable), and decent drink choices, but the seating isn't very good. Not a place to take your computer and work for any length of time. They have two couches, and the owner is usually taking up one, which is apparently her office as she has a laptop and printer beside it. The other seats are ok for a short time. If it was more comfortable and had more drink selection, this would be a great place to go get work done. They blare elevator music, which is unbearable. One of the guys working there had absolutely zero enthusiasm, was completely indifferent to everything. I didn't see him in there last time, so maybe he's gone. The owner is very nice. I just wish she wouldn't take up one of the only decent places to sit. Good for breakfast, not ideal to spend a prolonged period of time in.

Alpine used to be my favorite breakfast & lunch place in Maryland Farms, but it has seriously gone downhill. I believe it has new owners. None of the nice, young people work there anymore. I really dont mean any offense, but I can barely understand the people making the food, and they quite obviously cant understand me either! I ordered a garden melt, and asked for sprouts, avocado, tomatoes, cucumbers, green peppers, provolone cheese, and thats it. I ended up getting no sprouts or avocado, and they put provolone & cheddar cheese on it instead of just provolone. There was enough cheese on that thing to give me a heart attack! Not literally, of course, but there was way too much cheese on it that I didnt ask for. It took about 10 minutes to get my bagel, which is not cool since there werent that many people in there. Then I realized after I left that I got overcharged for my bagel. I also bought an apple which was $.99 seems a bit pricey for a very small apple.

So I probably wont be going to Alpine anymore. Sad, because I used to stop by at least 2 or 3 times a week.

I love this place! The people are so nice here. They always remember who I am and what I like. They are friendly and funny. I have never had anything that wasn't great. When I was in college, my boyfriend and I came in here every day! It holds some sentimental value due to the people who always make it a fun experience.
