I have a good judgment when it comes to this sport .
This place is full of good horses and medium range as well.
The owner Amy is an example of a "good hearted american values" best you can get. You are treated at home . Ask for her

Can anyone help me? I am a horse that lives at Blazing Saddles in Randolph, Ma. I am forced to live outside in terrible conditions with no fresh hay, water or shelter. At night I sleep in my own manure & urine. If it is 100 degrees in

I had a lesson with Aimee/Amy today, the owner. She never even showed up!! She had a friend come out to tell me she was a "no-show" because she "had an emergency." When asked why she couldn't call me to let me know, her friend told me

Amy was an hour late to the appt, when she arrived never came to apologize or say she'd be right with us so we ended up leaving without our ride. Def would not return!

The horses are well cared for by the family. Amy is really friendly and so are the people that work there. Overall, the place is really nice and a great place for riding and being around horses.

Brought a friend to ride and hang out with me and my horse. We walked around to all the paddocks and he met all the horses. They were all friendly and a little carrot treat. Next we tacked up and went for an hour ride through the Blue Hills. The trails are wide and good footing except a few rocky areas, that's New England for you. The horses were perfect and well behaved. This is a great place to enjoy some horse-time even if you don't own your own horse. The staff is experienced and knows just what to do.

My Thoroughbred mare has been boarded here for several years and is vert well cared for and happy here. Trails are superior. We get turnout every day and nice riding ring. I hand graze my mare. Boarders are friendly and helpful. If you board here you can join in and help out with chores or tacking. You can't beat the price and just help out a little and it works out well for all.

Rings are to small, Place in general to small for that many horses, Dirt bikes should not be aloud on facility with horses. They let people ride with out safety gear. The barn is to dark, Horses underfed & watered, Riding gear for the students are a wreck major safety risk. And wasn't this the same place where they had a lady rider get killed the 1st week it opened do to the dirt bikes? Oh yea that's right to. Amy also could not ride worth a crap she rides like a bag of marbles. I use to board my horse there way over priced for the dirty rotten care they give that place should be made to shut down and locked up. But it wont cause the owner probably tosses some green towards. That's why i moved my horses out and moved to Horseplay Stables in Milton aka golden spurs place its not much but safer and better then that dive she calls a stable.

What's worse than falling off a horse? Going to Blazing Saddles Equestrian Center.

Let me say, that first, the barn LOOKS decent at first from the street, and the people are nice, or ACTING nice, but no. This place is nothing more than an overcrowded barn with horses, which half of them are underweight. The paddocks show signs of nibbling by the horses, maybe because they were hungry. They even installed some metal flashings to prevent the horse from biting the wood. In fact, many of the white wooden fences at the barn were nibbled away by the hungry horses.

The stalls themselves are laden with flies "at least the outdoor-facing stalls", and often times, I can see piles of feces on the stall floors, often at the corner of the stalls. I didn't mentiened that to the people there, because I just want to be nice to them.

The Services consists of Amy with her distorted and loud voice over the phone. I couldn't make out half the words she is saying, maybe because her voice is so distorted. I do use a cell phone, but other farms that I call had a much clearer voice. I sat up a trail ride for 3:30 on that day.

Well, That day came. I arrived there at about 3:20, which is 10 minutes before the ride. I talk to the people about my experience with horseback riding and that I rode two other trails that day, one at Bobby's Ranch, and the other one at Ridge Valley Stables. Both these trails were advanced trails which consists of cantering and going up and down steep slopes...well, more of Bobby's Ranch than Ridge Valley Stables.

Well, anyways, they say that the horse is going to arrive in about a half an hour. Oh, I thought that I schedualed a trail ride for 3:30. Apperently, they don't know about time. 4:00, and still no horse yet. Finally, about 4:25pm, they finally took out a horse, named Storm. Yay, after 55 ___ken minutes after my supposed trail ride.

Well, The Trail ride consists of some girl in front of me. But there's another person that sat me up constently keeps grabbing the horse and say "NO" every time she moved her head as we were getting ready. She then grabbed her (the reigns that I was holding) and lead me about 5 minutes into the trail when we went. After that, my horse was unresponsive, even though I was cueing him to go. It started off with me squeezing the leg, but I had to constently kick Storm just to keep him up to the trail guide. I had to kick him A LOT just to get him to trot. Usually, this isn't the case with other horses I have ridden. But with poor training of the horses, perhaps that they need to treat the horses better.

When we ended, it was about 5:05 or 5:10. Only 40 to 45 minutes, while it's supposed to be an hour! Oh, Come on. I paid 30 bucks for an hour trail ride. And it was all walking. No trotting, No Cantering. The only trotting I got is when I got this lazy horse to catch up with the leader. In fact, they DON'T have advanced trail riding. How are lessons useful when you can't go on a cantering trail ride? Certinately this barn can't even do lessons, when there's an old man that only talked to the student about stuff that's unrelated to what he's supposed to teach.

And there's to believe that I don't see any ponies, which leads me to believe that they put kids on horses (not ponies) when it comes to pony rides. Wow! They don't even know what a pony is!

If you want to go on a great trail ride and have at least DECENT lessons, Go to Ridge Valley Stables. Go to Bobby's Ranch. Go to Blue Hills Stables. Stay away from this filthy barn. Amy needs to go back to school and know the proper way to do business.

Blazing Saddles Equestrian Center Stinks!

Pros: The Chickens and the (underweight) goat

Cons: Everything else!

I have been searching for a place to board my horse near Newton and came across Blazing Saddles, I was so excited to see that there was a somewhat close stable with a inexpensive board rate. I drove out with my dad and we traveled up and down high street and could not find the place then finally saw a sign and pulled in to the drive and it was a small beat up farm. It seriously looks like a abandoned farm, there was a group of people sitting around riding dirt bikes or something like that and they were very rude. The barn is disgusting and not a good place for horses to be. My dad and I ran before anyone else stopped us and we have no intentions of going back. This place should be shut down unless they can maintain it properly and care for the animals on the property the right way.

I want to start off by saying this is not the worst place in the world, but pretty close to it. I went there for a summer camp in 08. Though it was very inexpensive, (only $150 for five days and three hours a day) it had very diry stables, the people there were not very nice, and, though i always saw food and hay in the area, there was never any in the stalls. After we went on trail rides i would volenteer to get the horses some water but every day i got the same responce, they got some this morning. THE TRAIL RIDES WERE MORE THAN AN HOUR LONG!!! HOW COULD THEY NOT BE THIRSTY? They also had very limited facilities, for example, if you had to use the bathroom, THEY DIDN'T HAVE ONE they told us if we had to go, go in one of the stalls! Also, they were not a very safe place. THe girl i was put with in camp was very young and agitated the horses. Of course the volenteers said it was fine, as long as no one was getting hurt. Well, that,'no one's getting hurt' was incorrect on the last day when i was riding bare-back and the little girl was shouting so loud at a duck walking by that my horse, the sweet old Dallas, bucked me off. When i asked to get back on they said no because I had scared Dallas. ME! The good parts of this expirience was, one, Amy. She was very nice and supportive. Also, the trails were fun, although they needed to be cleaned. My advise to any parent who wants to sighn there kid up is, don't. My advise to any adult who wants to sighn up, don't. My addvise to anyone that works at this stables and is reading this, I hope you can find another job because, unless you can take better care of these animals, including the cats who were skinny and dirty, you are going to get everything taken away from you. I hope this gives some helpful information to some peole.

I have been to blazing saddles many times with my 2 year old daughter. This place is great for kids and adults. They have someof the most beautiful horses around. I even hired Amy to bring 2 horses/ ponies to my daughters birthday party in Weymouth. The kids loved it and the service I got was ophenomenal. She brought me 2 handlers so the parents didn't have to worry about walking with their kids so they could take pictures. Shop around because you will not get the prices that Amy gives for trail riding. lessons or pony parties. She is by far the best. I can't wiat til my daughter startds her riding lessons there.

Blazing Saddles is the best place in the whole world. I think that their service and consideration is great. I don't know what all of those goons are talking about when they say this place is horrible. Amy is so kind and generous and she is a great rider. All of the horses are not over of under fed. Also they are not over worked. The trail rides here are at exceptable prices and and so is the summer caps here too! You should definatly come to Blazing Saddles Equestrian Center in Randolph!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been a boarder at Blazing Saddles for I want to say at least 7 months now. My horse is completely happy and extremely well taking care of. Amy is an amazing rider. I actually read one of these reviews that said that she is a "wanna be rider". Well my dear no "wanna be rider" would be an exerciser for thoroughbreds on a race track. That was just a completely rude comment. Also I read that the people there that are happy are riders who do not know anything about horses. I have been raised with horses since I was 4 and have actively owned, shown and provided care since I was 7. That being said I do believe I know quite a bit about horses. As far as seeing "bones sticking out of horses" I never see a bone on any of these horses unless they are 35 years old and in that case it is enviable. Blazing Saddles is a barn that I would describe as a relaxed back barn. Reasoning being is because that it lacks the stuffiness and snobbery of many other barns that I have encountered. Everyone there is extremely friendly and extremely helpful. I also highly recommend the pony rides. They are done safely on friendly horses and be very knowledgeable horse people. Lastly, the trails rock and I am very polite to any other rider , walker, biker, jogger on the trails.

This place is a bunch of yahoos. Do NOT bring your kids there for lessons. Do NOT board your horses there. Avoid them on the trails. The place is gross, there is no regard for safety, and the owner is about as stable as the New England weather. There are lots of great options in the area. The only people that end up here for any length of time are those that know nothing about horses and fall for the spiel of the owner. Kids love it because they can do anything they want, no holds barred. Anyone with any horse sense will walk away after one quick look around.

The Place is to small for that many horses. I have drove past the place in the winter and horses would be tied out side. Amy can not ride a pickle barrow nailed to the floor she is a wanna be horse rider. Wasn't it at her place first year she opened a rider was well RIP. Not only that but her riders are very inconsiderate to others on the trails. Her place is Mucky and nasty. Also the horses are not well cared for at all. She should be shut down and have all her horses taken from her. THAT PLACE IS NASTY It is worst then the Paddocks Stables that use to be in Milton....... And I hate to say it but there are very few good stables left in that area thats why I moved my horses down to Taunton Area cheaper board BUT WAAAAAY better facilities.

And Personally Amys lesson students Cant ride for nothing they look like over weight monkeys on rocking horse.

Hi everyone I went back to Blazing Saddles the other day so I could accuratley inform you about its recent happenings. Although the snow is melting turning dirt to mud there is no reason for every horse to be standing in mud up to their knee! I went to visit one of my favorite horses there she is a flea bitten gray when i saw her yesterday she was black! she had about an inch of caked mud on her. i saw a few girls tack up without grooming or picking their feet which were also caked with mud DO NOT GO TO THIS BARN FOR ANY REASON! if you want a good barn with quality people and horses go to CANTON EQUESTRIAN CENTER it was the best decision for me and my horse's saftey and health

After being a boarder for a year and seeing everything that went on I would never recommend Blazing saddles. Stalls were nasty, horses were not always well cared for. The kids that ride there think it's great because they don't know better. The owner has a real knack for charming the kids. There were three horses that died in a year from inproper care. Most of the horses were well fed but with poor quality feed. I could go on and on. I am glad I moved!

I am very embarrassed for the owner of this barn. The horses are underweight and do not receive vet care or farrier care. Hip bones are showing on almost all horses. Horses are standing in stalls with urine and feces from days ago. Bedding appears very dusty as well does hay. Water buckets are dirty. Paddocks are disgusting. I took my daughter here for a lesson only because she was given a gift certificate by an aunt. I knew i was not going to be happy with the place when my daughters lesson consisted of a 12 year old girl walking her around the ring on an underweight horse for only 35 mintues when the certifcate was for an hour. I believe its illegal for a 12 year old to give lessons in this state. We returned to this stable once more when my neighbor wanted to take her son for a pony ride. He was led around for about 1 minute on an extremely tall skinny horse (NOT A PONY!!) The few times i was at this stable i even heard boarders complaining about the treatment of their horses...i dont blame them! There are enough stables in this area that blazing saddles should be avoided. I have ridden horses since i was a little girl and have never seen a place this poorly run. It should be shut down.

Cons: dirty, unorganized, mistreated animals

First of all, Blazing Saddles is one of the best barns around! My sister and I have been going to Blazing Saddles for almost a decade and we can?t get enough of it. We have some of the hardest and friendliest people working there but yes?they are people. Of course, like all barns, there have been some flaws but they always get fixed! I remember once we were doing SO much business and had SO many rides going out we had to tie some of the horses to trees on the barn side instead of the usual posts that they are tied to for the day. We accidently forgot that this one Quarter Horse named Hawk was tied on the side of the barn and he was there all night BUT the next morning we didn?t make him do trail rides for the whole day and he only had to do three the day after. And the paddocks and stalls are always done! Sometimes in the winter the ground freezes and its to difficult to muck the paddocks but as soon as they thaw out in the spring we have a day devoted to cleaning them out and get back into out weekly paddock mucking schedule. Our horse?s feet are also fine! A while back the owner?s boyfriend was the farrier and he was really mean and stuff (but I won?t get into that because it?s kind of personal) and he would only do the feet of the horses he was selling but they broke up and we have a great guy come down every so often from Canton Equestrian Center. The barn owner Amy is so sweet too! She always brings the kids working there fast food and picks them up from school all the time! If you ask her she?ll let you go to the bathroom at her house but haha most of us get used to just going in stalls. Well I think that sums up the barn for the most part! Blazing Saddles is a dream barn for everyone!!!

This place is the worst place i have ever been to in the whole world! the horses are all completely under weight and the stalls get done every other day and the paddocks get done once a month if your lucky! i went their and payed for an hour trail ride and we were back in less than 40 minutes! The horses get over worked and are tied to post's all day or stuck in grose stalls full of their own mess. The horses never get the propper veterinary treatment and the horses hoofs get so over grown to the point where they go lame, once they are lame they just get put in a stall for a few weeks unitl someone calls the Farrier. The horses they have their are also not suitable for children or any beginer riders, besides the underweight horses. I would not recomend this place if it was the last barn on earth!!!
