I am finishing up studying for my MFA and have been taking extra classes at Bridgeview school. I have to say that this school is great in terms of getting serious training for fundamentals of form. I have been interested in the Russian

My daughter has been a student in Bridgeview for over three years now, since she was 7 years old. She is very creative and loves it there. For me is the seriousness, dedication, proffesionality and sincerity of the theachers in Bridgeview. The children are given individual attention in a very down-to-earth manner. They use variety of techniques and materials to express themselves as artists, but the emphasis is put on classical drawing and painting techniques and that is quite rare these days. Creativity itself is not enough, the key is to know the tools of the trade and that is what Bridgeview teaches. The atelier is located in a former warehouse in Long Island City and has lovely diffused light from large industial type windows. I am very glad that we were able to find this school.

Bridgeview is a great and serious art school. What an opportunity for my child to learn from such accomplished teachers. My daughter started last year at Bridgeview at age 12. She has taken art classes elsewhere but she has found her
