Stacey's Bookstore

Stacey's is a really fabulous bookstore in downtown San Francisco. They have a huge selection spread out over multiple levels, and they have great in-store author readings and signings - these are often scheduled midday which is very convenient if you work in the area and can sneak out for a bit at lunchtime. I definitely recommend doing your book shopping here.

STACEY'S BOOKSTORE IS A FRIENDLY BOOK STORE DOWNTOWN. THEY HAVE A VARIETY OF GREAT BOOKS & AUTHORS. THE PRICES ARE REASONABLE AND STAFF IS GREAT. EVERY TIME I HAVE BEEN IN THIS BOOK STORE, I HAVE ALWAYS WALKED AWAY WITH A GREAT BOOK THAT THE STAFF HAD RECOMMEND.

PROS: GREAT PRICES, GREAT BOOK
CONS: DOWNTOWN AND PARKING IS HARD TO FIND

Stacey's Bookstore is a great place to get books. The staff is all very friendly and helpful. If you cannot find something they will special order it for you and it actaully get there when hey say it will.

This is a GREAT store and has been around for years. If you are a bookworm this is the store for you - they have a huge inventory of books, magazines, and other merchandise. They do special orders and call you when your order comes in. The help is informative, friendly and helpful. This store is like going to the library - but you pay for the books and get to keep them.
