Always consistently good food and good service. Fresh hot bagels, fresh coffee and you can order a real breakfast - like eggs or an omelette. Crowded during prime time. So I try to go at off peak hours.

Tip Top Bagel like they said, man it was the first time I've tasted a juicy bagel. Delicious! I'm usually not a fan of bagels but after my friend had recommended this shop to me, I've fell in love with bagels since.

We have a bagel divide in my household. My wife and I prefer a dense, crusty, chewy bagel. Our kids want one that's fluffy and bready. Terrace is the bagel in the Park Slope area (actually Windsor Terrace) that satisfies all of us: it has a good bite and chew, but baked thick with a tender inside. (They're also available at the park Slope Food Co-op.) The shop sells the uusual sandwiches and spreads, but the bagels are the real attraction.

Good food, good service, much more than your typical deli. great breakfast, good atmoshpere. You can sit down on the restaurant side or order out at the deli side. The best breakfast sandwiches, lox platters etc....pretty good parfait too... lunch is good too. prepared foods on the deli side as well with a heavy italian influence (the best stuffed peppers around).

Pros: Great value and quality and variety, convenient and friendly.

Cons: Cash only, only deliver on weekdays, restaurant seating cramped

You know the bagels are good when every firefighter and cop in the zip code stops here to fuel up. There's always a line on the weekend, for good reason. For newcomers: the line on the left is to order, the line of the right is to pick up.

It aint H and H, but it's damn good!
A little buttery, but super chewy and a normal size.
Great staff and large selection of other deli favs.

Tasty bagels, a good mix of fluffy and chewy texture with excellent flavor. The line is long, but the staff keeps it moving and usually everyone is friendly. They have an eat-in cafe next door, but if the weather's good you can walk over to the park and eat your bagel on a bench for a perfect morning.

Pros: delicious, not overpriced, good service

Terrace Bagels is awesome! Bagels are fresh, perfect consistency and delicious. Often crowded, but the line moves fast. Friendly counter people (some of whom have been there for years)

best bagels -- maybe in nyc. all the trimmings: lox, chopped liver, whitefish salad...plus a whole Italian deli sandwich & sides angle. great staff keeps the ridiculous lines moving.

I used to go to Terrace Bagels every single morning, but when I got a new apartment the best I could do was once a weekend, but it's always something I look forward to. I would get the raisin bagels and occasionally a plain with lox and cream cheese, but now I go straight for the lox since I don't get there often. Their bagels have the perfect softness to them, but on the outside there's a bit of crispiness to give it a bit of texture. Going early in the morning when they're still fresh is the best. One time I was there and asked for a bagel toasted (big mistake for newbies). The waitress came back to tell me the bagels just came out of the oven so she wanted me to know if I still wanted it toasted.

The Best Bagel in Bklyn and maybe the world.
The bagels, sandwiches and baked goods are unbelievably good. The lines get really long, but its really well priced.
