In all my life, I have never before been so insulted by a company. Pay-less Oil provides possibly the worst customer service of all the companies in the world. Not only did they fail to deliver the oil for my home, but a clerk by the name of Jennifer actually screamed and yelled at me through the phone for something that was entirely the company's fault. I was very angry, but I kept calm and tried to reason with her. Yet, she refused to listen to my explanations and shouted at me not to call her again. That vulgar woman even told me that they were "kicking me out" of their service. She was absolutely unbelievable - customers should never have to suffer through that abuse from their vendors.

It had been snowing continuously for weeks in our town, and in order to make it easier for the Pay-less Oil truck to drive to our house and deliver the oil, I even went out of my way to shovel a path in our driveway through 34 inches of snow. The next day, a Friday, the truck came and then left, telling us that they were unable to drive through our driveway because the path I shoveled was too narrow. So I made an appointment with them to come again the next Monday, since my weekend would be very busy and I wouldn't have the chance to shovel the driveway again until Sunday night.

Pay-less Oil agreed to come by again on Monday to fill our oil tanks. But instead, the truck came by again the next morning (Saturday), and left again, claiming that the road was still not wide enough for the truck to move through. I called the company and told them that I had made the appointment for the oil truck to come to our house on Monday, not Saturday morning. They had made a mistake.

And it was this Jennifer woman who began yelling at me on the phone, saying that the company could not come to our house "a thousand times a day" to fill our oil tank. I tried explaining my case, but she kept cutting me off, saying that they no longer wanted to do business with us and that I needed to find a different oil company.

As you can see, this request of hers was extremely unfair. I had clearly made an appointment with the company for Monday. They were the ones who screwed up and came on Saturday morning when we did not ask them to. My family of two eighty-year-old seniors and three young children had to endure an entire week of this freezing cold blizzard without any oil to heat the house. Where is the justice in this world? I am utterly baffled by the company's (especially Jennifer's) complete lack of basic respect for other human beings, not to mention their paying customers!

Now, I am in the process of filing the papers to apply for service from another oil company after I was barbarously "kicked out" from Pay-less Oil. It's a hassle filling out documents for a new company, but I am truly glad that I will never have to endure the nasty customer service of Pay-less Oil ever again!

So my advice to you: save yourself the headache and find a different oil company up front. Pay-less Oil is not worth your time.
