The person who posted there was an 11 year old as a trailguide (now 12) is absolutely correct. She was a sweetie and I don't blame anything on her or the horse. I've ridden at least a dozen times before at different stables. Employee

Completely unprofessional! Rude staff. Ride at your own risk here. Don't even think about boarding your horse here, the care is the worst I've ever seen.

I haven't been up at the barn in over 5 years since I stopped working there because the one horse I gave extra care for left. (I was an insecure girl, and that horse was my best friend.) But anyways, my boyfriend took me up there yesterday

I took my daughter and her friend today for a what I thought would be a beautiful ride through Tyler Park. (I had ridden out of this stable years ago). Fat chance. The girl at the desk, Lauren, was rude and confrontational. She never

this is a beautiful barn, and currently under new management from the previous years. horses are well loved and well feed, they were all very good weight etc. first you pay there hourly rate of 30$ then you have a trail guide take you out and ride all through the beautiful park!!! as the new management team has changed so much you are not allowed to ride into the park without a guide for at least your first three times! which i needed as i had only ridden a few times! i still go regularly and recommend to all family and friends! i have read these other reviews and i am guessing this is due to the former management but i have yet to have an experience such as that! best of luck to all riders, i am sure you will love it there it is beautiful and a lifetime experience!

Pros: best place to ride! Awesome people

Cons: a little far from mt pocono

I love to ride, and love to see that there are still places to trust you with their own horses without a trail leader, but what comes along with places like this is unfortunally unexperienced management and employees who just really see their horses as "work". I had a pleseant experience my first trail ride, with a leader and actrully came back the following day to a woman who beat my trail horse for not being willing for the ride. By the third time of hitting the horse in the face she then jumped on to only be bucked off. The next horse, she kept hitting the face and could tell my horse was aggitated and realized no one would ever treat my own horse like this so it makes me think what they do to all their horses. Hopefully this isn't happening to all their horses and maybe it was a bad day but no where did it say no refund, and for driving 45 minutes to only watch "work" horses get beatin, isn't my cup of tea. I really wouldn't go their again, for the horses sake. They are ridden all day with 15 minute breaks. The management will only give out "rain dates" (If the horse dies or you see unlawful activity- words by management) which obviously happens a lot, considering all the paperwork of raindates she has in her "files". It's a fishy place and would consider having the SPCA check it out and have someone with knowledge about horses inform them how to handle the animals. Goodluck and don't bother calling, no one will answer.

Pros: Only place in area to ride without a group/leader

Cons: "Ride at your own risk" - even if they beat the horse your on.

They will let anyone ride out unaccompanied based on their word they know how to ride! They will let you ride unaccompanied the first time you ride one of their horses. Safely is not a big concern. The second time I rode here when I returned I had some concerns about the horse. When I told the adult in charge she replied that they didn't know the horse well yet because they had just purchased it and no there had ridden it! Young and/or inexperienced riders should go elsewhere. Bring your own helmut!
