Eldreth Pottery

I've shopped here several times over 18 years, with the last being summer vacation in 2008. The pottery is very sturdy salt-glazed and hand-formed stoneware. Each piece has unique qualities. If you take the time to browse, you can find perfect accent pieces for your house. I was not quite as impressed recently with the decorative patterns as I had been with the pieces I bought in the early 90's, but we still found several pieces to add to our collection. Check out the website (link above) to see how nice this stuff is. They do have a seconds rack where you can get pieces at a reduced rate.

All the pottery in this shop is either the blue and cream or brown and cream sort of primitive country pottery. Very well done - lots of very nice items to chose from. A little oricey and unfortunately they
don't have sales. But worth the stop for the pottery bird houses alone. Check it out
