This place is so much fun with a group of friends or just an afternoon with your most creative self. It's just great to find out what you can do in an afternoon. Come back a week later and claim your masterpiece! \r

I am the new owner of the Glazed Bisque-It as of October 2007. I have doubled the bisque inventory since owning the studio and we no longer have an hourly fee. The studio fee is $6 for kids and $8 for adults and you can paint for as long as you like! We now have writer bottles and lots of new glazes. You will now find all the stencils and stamps very organized and easy to use. We love to teach new pottery painting techniques. We also have a full System 96 Glass Fusing station and a Mosaic Bar.
We now have a highchair to accomodate our little painting friends and toys for the older siblings!
Grace - give us a chance and come on back!! I think you will find a wonderful "new" studio.

I have been a regular at the Glazed Bique it for about three years. I think its a wonderful place to relax, unwind and let your creative juices flow! Pam and her staff are always willing to help you with technique and ideas. I am not an artist by any means but I have become pretty good at simplethings. I have found that I can spend twenty dollars there and make something for someone for Christmas and they love it and think so much more of the gift because I took the time to make it for them. Having birthday parties for children there is a wonderful idea as well. The prices are very reasonable and I have never been there and Pam not have anything in stock, that could not be ordered and in the store in just a day or two. Pam does great work personalized work if your not an artist! There is an extra charge, but I love it there! I have threatened to retire and spend my days there!! LOL

The shop is roomy and bright, but the prices (a session fee of $6/hour per painter plus the price of each piece of pottery painted) are significantly higher than other paint-it-yourself pottery places I have been. They are often out-of-stock on the more popular plates, mugs, and tiles. They do not have the equipment for finer work (they just have brushes - no fine-tipped bottles for lettering, etc) and only stock basic paint (no specialty paints, like metallic or "puffy" paint). The staff is usually courteous and helpful, although they have not offered much coaching on technique. Be specific regarding pricing and terms when planning to take a group. They are closed on Mondays.

Pros: Bright rooms, kids love to paint

Cons: Expensive, not well supplied
