College of Our Lady of The Elms

I attended The Elms college for a couple of semesters as a part time student working on my BSN. I took a class entitled, "women of the Bible" in which the biblical account of Ruth and her mother in law Naomi was described as probably the "first account of a lesbian relationship documented" and I quote the nun teaching the class. I considered it almost a crime for a nun to be filling young minds with such audacious rubbish.

The Elms College is a small Catholic college that is open to all denominations with minimal religious requirements. The Elms recently opened a new center for concentration on autism and now has a degree program to work for in this concentration. I'm impressed by their innovative programing.

I graduated for the Elms with my Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in 2002. I am very pleased with the education that I received from the Elms. The Elms has high standards. I learned a lot by attending. I especially feel the Elms has made me a much better writer. I would recommend the Elms.

The Elms is a wonderful place to either commute to or to live on campus. Very small, offers excellent programs, and has a very well-respected reputation. All religions attend. Minimal religious requirement. This is a nice , small , private school.
