Hurtubise Peter Do - Heartland Family Health

I am a patient of Julie Burrowes at this practice. She is the best health care provider I have ever been to. She always takes time to listen to me and never rushes out of my appointments. She is caring, compassionate and dedicated to her work and patients.

The one negative of this practice is the front desk reception. It is almost always impossible to speak to a human being when calling, and when you are able to speak to a person, they are always very curt and do not have good phone manners. Also, I have overheard them talking about patients medical-related issues as I was sitting in the waiting room. The front desk does not give a professional impression at all.

I am very disappointed in this physicians office. I called and canceled my appointment over a week before my scheduled appointment. And then I received a no show bill for $50. This is not a good first impression. Why didn't I receive a reminder phone call before my scheduled appt. then? Because I canceled thats why, they know it, they just want more of my money.

Dr. Hurtubise has been my doctor since he came to this area. I have followed him to wherever he was in practice, and now he has his own office, with a caring, professional, helpful, knowledgeable staff. Everyone is friendly, and they go out of their way for each patient. Dr. Hurtubise, Marge and Julie take their time with each patient and truly listen, so they can give the best care. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

This is one of the best practices I have ever associated with. They care about the patient and really take the time to listen to your needs and follow through. I have a history of strange diagnosis and being a first time for people but at this practice I mainly see Marge the NP (but have seen Dr Hurtubise as well) and she is very quick and exact with her diagnosis. A friend recommended me to this practice and I love it. All involved are super nice and caring!

If you need and want a fabulous doctor go to Heartland Family they are wonderful and they truely care the best doctors i have ever had the whole staff is wonderful I cant say enough about them.
