Called on April 13th to make a reservation for 6PM, April 21st and no problems. On the 21st, I called at 5:40PM to check which credit cards were accepted, & was told that they were booked solid for the evening. I said, no problem, I have a reservation. They said that neither my phone # or name were among those who had reservations for the evening, and there was nothing they could do. And with that, Le Bouchon ruined my wedding anniversary, and we ended walking up and down Emmon's Ave to find a restaurant for our anniversary dinner. But, no skin off THEIR backs, right? Moral: If you make a reservation with these jerks, call often to make sure that somebody actually wrote it down.

I have been to the W Restaurant twice over the last month or so, and have been pleasantly surprised on both occasions. Restaurant is under new ownership as I found out, and everything about the food is superb. Wine list is very extensive, great selection. Appetizers are for various tastes, but tuna tartar is definitely my favorite. I tried fish, which I liked, but the steak is out of this world, it would give the best steak houses a run for its money. I will definitely be back, just hope food and service stay on that high level

AWESOME ATMOSPHERE, GREAT FOOD, TOP SERVICE, VERY FRIENDLY.
EXCELLENT WINE SELECTION.

Pros: CLASSY, TOP QUALITY FOOD AND SERVICE

I definitely enjoyed my meal and service - top notch. I tried their Hamachi Nicoise, which is one of their salads for an appetizer over a bottle of some superb Riesling while we waited for our entrees. It didn't take long for them arrive, like 30-40 mins later. I can recommend trying their Chicken Cognac and Amberjack, for they were delicious and went great with our wine! It's not every day that you get to dine in a luxury Restaurant like that, so there definitely isn't such a place in Brooklyn to compare.

To sum it up: a nice place to have a fantastic dinner or make an impression,
prices match the quality
Verdict: RECOMMENDED if you have a taste for life:))

Atmosphere was kind of nice- we were there on a week day- so there were not many people eating there- now i know why))). It was nice and quiet apart from the wait staff/ cook sitting not too far from us , having sone sort of a loud discussion, using a very non-formal language. there goes"romantic" evening))
Rib eye steak was aged, i did not fancy the cut, though. It was almost too rare, very plain- tasting, extremely underseasoned, but smothered in too much butter, apparently, it was marinated in rosemary- and way too much of it- so rosemary was all i could taste. Not the best choice of herb for steak. There was nothing coming with the steak- only meat, no side dish whatsoever. Rrack of lamb turned out to be just 2 lamb chops of a very moderate size- i could buy the whole leg of lamb for the price of chops. They were over-done, and had a distinct lamb taste, i think meat was old. good selection of wines and beer, wierd salads. Will never go there again.

Lets start with the bread. The bread brought to our table looked like it was a week old, and stale. It was plain old sliced bread that you can get at any supermarket. It wasnt even crispy, or hot like so many other Russian restaurants do.

The appetizers were weird to say the least. They had weird fish combinations turned into chunky spreads with potatoe chips on the side. I tried all three that were offered and none tasted any good.

There was a dish with something that looked like it was dug out from the back yard and placed on the table. Only after about an hour of staring at this dish did I realize it had kilbasa underneath this grass+root looking covering which looked like it was just torn out of the dirt and thrown on.

The salads weren't very good. The vegetables did not look very fresh and after biting into it they were very soggy, as though the salad wasnt made right before we arrived but has been standing the entire day without refrigeration.

The meet dishes werent anything to write home about. The leg of lamb that was brought to the table tasted completely plain and ordinary like there were no herb or spices added to it or it was not allowed to sit long enough to marinate. It almost tasted sweet for some odd reason.

The rib eye that was way to rare for consumption and the cut was very cheap, it was saturated with way to much fat. It was impossible to chew, and it did not have any spices added to it as well.

The fish wasn't very good either, especially when they brought it out and removed its skeleton in front of us while wearing latex gloves. LATEX, HELLO, havent these people heard of LATEX allergies.

There is no entertainment, the music played is boring, the atmosphere is gloomy and depressing.
I went here because of a birthday party, called before coming to find out how much the banquets are per person. 85,120,145. I brought a check for 200 for myself and my GF to be safe.
THIS WAS A HUGE WASTE OF MONEY, THIS PLACE IS ATROCIOUS.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. THIS PLACE IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. BAD FOOD AT VERY HIGH PRICES. THEY DO HAVE A LARGE SELECTION OF WINE AND BEER. HALF THE RESTAURANT IS ENCLOSED ON SIDEWALK STREET., WHICH YOU CANNOT SEE THE POOR ENTERTAINER SINGER THEY HAVE. I WISH I WOULD HAVE LOOKED THEM UP BEFORE GOING. WHAT A WASTE.
