A lot of interesting things here that will occupy you for several hours. Kids love it and don't want to leave. This is an all-volunteer museum. Friendly and complete. There is a 15' exact scale model of the Titanic you won't want to miss and a lot of associated displays from the era. There's even an airplane that youngsters can sit in the cockpit and "fly." There is a room for parties, a cafe for bring-your-own food, and a gift shop. Interesting Saturday programs. More on the Web site: www.discoverystation.org

1 Star - This website won't allow me to check off only 1 star. Took 4-yr old daughter here yesterday at 12:30 for a day trip. Sign on door closing at 1:00 for Renovations. Okay, guess we'll have to do a quick tour. But wait, Doors are already locked. So we get hold of an employee (older, balding white male) who says the Renovations have already started and there is "Nothing to see." Never saw anything on the website about their closing, we already paid for parking, you can't maybe offer a free pass for next time? We were NOT impressed.

Fun and interesting museum for kids. They have 2 levels of activities for kids to do. I think it is best for kids 2-8, but they do have some things for the older kids but it is more geared for the younger ones. They have an aviation part where you can see inside an old plane. In the lobby they have a bank vault that you can walk in and look around. It was a lot of fun but I thought it was a little expensive.
