This is one of those places which you want to keep to yourself, but you just can't. The owner is well versed in the art of cheese-ology, and is busting to share his love of cheeses from all over the world. If you are passing through Gap, PA and have a few minutes to spare, treat yourself to a visit.

This guy knows his cheeses! And he is so excited about them, you can't help but to buy samples of at least 5 before you leave the store! Tucked into a "basement shoppe" almost across from Gap Diner, you won't believe the quality (or the explanations) of cheeses you will find. We stumbled into the shop one day when nearby Twin Oaks Winery was having a free wine tasting. We headed there after, tasted excellent wine and ate all of the cheeses the cheese shop guy was raving about! This is truly a hidden treasure and worth the 30-40 minutes you spend in the shop!

Bill Houder is a lover of fine cheese - his enthusiastic presentation is entertaining as well as knowledgeable. I was helping my daughter plan a wine and cheese shower and this was definitely the place to go. Bill helped me with suggestions for pairing different cheeses with different wines.
