The staff at Metro Swim Shop is knowledgeable and helpful. They are always eager to help you find what you need. The products are always ready when promised, maybe even before. The staff travel to swim meets making buying options even easier for busy families. Metro has outfitted both our club and summer teams. The poor reviews you see are for the on-line ordering, which is very different. Go and visit the store near BWI airport, they have great hours, unlike other swim stores which close early.

NEVER order from these people!!!! My daughter ordered a lifeguard suit on June 11th, it wasn't shipped until the 25th, after she called. The sizing was not according to their info so we returned it(paying shipping, of course). It's now July 23rd, no suit. The worst part is, they billed me twice for the suit in June;I was told to fax a copy of my credit card bill to show the accountant. I inadvertently left my number on the bottom of the bill, and 2 days later, someone fraudulently tried to order a virtual gift card using that credit card. Funny timing, don't you think? Luckily, the store didn't send it when they couldn't verify with me that I had ordered it. I don't trust them, and their customer service is horrible(tried to call at 4pm today and no one is answering the phones!)

Please contact corporate about these issues. We still pride ourselves on customer service and making sure that our customers are properly taken care of.

I ordered 3 items, but they only delivered 2, which were not the ones I ordered. So I returned them but they never sent me the correct ones. They will refund me the money .The other one was on back order and after 5 phone call they hopefully sending me a replacement.

I will never do business with Metro Swim Shop again. I ordered two products on 6/8. I received ONE of the products on 6/19 and learned on 6/20 after two calls to customer service that the second product, a bathing suit, was not in stock because their online inventory does not reflect their actual inventory. They said maybe the other product would get there at the end of July, and then they'd charge me more shipping to send it out. Now I am stuck with 1) no swim suit, 2) no time before vacation to get one, 3) $7 in shipping that I would have never spent on just one item and 4) additional shipping charges if I want the other product with no definite timetable for shipping (which I ended up cancelling). Customer service was totally unapologetic that they have known for 2 weeks that they didn't have my order and never told me! DON'T EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!!
