.

We stayed for a week in early August, 2007. We have visited the lake George area for many years and stayed at a variety of places. we were told all units had a "lake view". Ours did NOT...which was only one of our many issues with this overpriced vacation spot. Each 2 bedroom unit was supposedly limited to a total of 6 people. the unit above us had 4 adults and 4 children under the age of 5....LOTS of running feet and slamming doors late at night and early a.m. When we spoke with management about it, the noise actually increased. The "beach front" is 20 feet of sand...one morning a family of 4 places lounge chairs side by side across the "beach front" leaving all other guests to navigate their way to the lake through a four inch expanse of sand. The "sun deck" was splintery...VERY splintery and old...it needed refacing at least and replacing at best. Someone was at the "front desk" from 9am til 5pm only, after 5pm any needs that you might have had to wait til morning. Our in-room whirlpool tub had no working 'stopper', and of course we didn't';t discover it until evening....had to wait til morning for a fix. We paid $2500 for the week...WAY too much money! Save your $ and stay someplace else in Lake George..lots of GOOD places to choose from.
