Fitness Together has offered me something I had forgotten I possessed? strength. It has allowed me to not only gain back physical strength and endurance, but has recaptured my inner strength as well. My trainer has pushed me to limits I thought I couldn?t reach, while being supportive as a guide to remind me that I?m not alone in my quest. I?m grateful for this experience, and even at my half-way point, I?m fitter, leaner, lighter and stronger than ever.

I was the typical on again/off again person when it came to exercising and getting in shape: I'd go the gym or a yoga class on a regular basis for a while, then taper off for some reason -- a schedule change, extra work, overdoing it, or the simple loss of that initial buzz. I turned 40 this year, and I needed to find a program that would help avoid and eliminate the usual pitfalls, encourage me to continue with my goals, and give me a comfortable atmosphere to work in. And I found it!

Fitness Together provides a fantastic combination of structure and flexibility to incorporate a fitness routine into your life - whether you're a lifelong fitness slacker, a multi-tasking mom, or someone like me who just couldn't seem to turn the corner in the past.

The scheduled appointments really helped me make it a routine. No "I'll go tomorrow instead" excuses. (But enough flexibility to be able to make a switch when you _really_ need to).

The instruction and supervision during the workouts takes the guesswork out of it for you too. I was always the person who thought he could do a little more, or could never gauge how many were enough or too many reps. Plus, the trainers use a variety of different exercises focusing on your specific needs and goals. There's no boring circuit to go through over and over again.

While encouraging and supportive, the staff don't overdo it. They create a dynamic that's social and friendly. for any client, at any fitness level. There's no sense of competition or comparison - we work on my program, according to my current ability and level.

At most you'll be working at the same time as one other client/trainer, so no waiting for machines/equipment, and no one impatiently waiting for you to finish! It's your time and the staff make sure you feel that focus.

I have seen great results in the 4 months I've been a member, and have no intention of quitting anytime soon!

I have never been able to stick to an exercise program before, but with the help of my trainer I work out consistently. I am now very strong and fit, do both strength training and cardio exercise, and feel and look better. This is a comfortable place for an out of shape beginner to start or to improve your current condition. Definitely the place to go.
