I work midtown, and the girls from the office often get manis or pedis. We've tried other places midtown, but this is by far the cleanest and nicest (for the price). We got pedis and we were so happy we were tempted to get manis even though we didn't need them. It's extremely reasonable ($28 pedi and $12 mani) and they did a great job. The atmosphere is very relaxing, and I love the little massages they do at the end. They'll also clean your rings for you while getting a mani. It's the little personal services that make this place a total gem!! We definitely found our new midtown nail place!

Pros: Very clean, calm atmosphere, nice staff, reasonably priced, personal service

Cons: No store front (2nd floor), so you wouldn't really know it's there unless you were looking for it

When I tryed to book a 60 minute massage, the receptionist called one of the nail girls to describe me the type of masages they offered; and when I asked her if she was licensed she didn't know what to say... this is not a real spa

This spa was a wonderful experience. It was a rainy day and my friends and I were looking for a manicure on a sunday night. Most places are closed but this spa was open until 7pm. I called at 6:40pm to see if they would still take me, they said sure. I ran over with 3 other friends. We all got manicures, I got a pedicure and brow waxing and another friend got a massage! They were so friendly, kept the business open late for us, prices were awesome and the place was clean and relaxing!! Definitely a place to try out if your in midtown!

I have to say I had the best experience I've ever had in a nail salon/spa. Everyone is so friendly, they don't make you wait, and they give great pedicures! The minimal pedi is only $30, which is a great deal in NYC. But if you wanna go for the scrub or massage it gets a little more expensive, but totally worth it!! They take thier time and don't rush you out. They don't pressure you to get any other service done like most places. And they are sooo clean, I actually felt like everything was sanitary. I have to say I left very pleased. I would recommend giving it a try.

I walked in on Sunday afternoon after having brunch at a local place. I was greeted with an air of serenity and the attendants were all very nice. I told them I wanted a pedicure and it was the BEST pedicure I have ever had. The spa pedicure was extremely relaxing I almost fell asleep. The woman asked me questions to make sure I was comfortable (water temparature, pressure during foot massage) and she told me what product she was using. They used a callous remover lotion & stone rather than a blade and my feet have not been this smooth since I was a baby! I love this place! They have other services too and I'm hoping to try some. It is a bit pricey but totally satisfying.

Absolutely wonderful... As soon as I walked in the door I could feel an air of difference compared to other spas I have patroned. My coat was taken from me and hung up. I had only made an appt for a pedicure, however, when I mentioned that if I had time I would do a manicure, they said no problem and did my manicure while also doing the pedicure.
Very clean and serene, I could have fallen asleep in the ergonomical spa chair that massaged my back during the pedicure. While my nails were drying, I received a mini massage. Then I had help getting my coat back on. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I just got a pedicure and I'm totally impressed. The staff was professional, accomodating and not at all pushy, which is more than I can say for a lot of other salons in the area. Place is quiet and clean and you could tell customer service was a top priority. I even got a free mini back massage as I sat at the dryer! Highly recommended.

The customer service here really impressed me. At the recommendation of my hotel, I dropped in to find they were closing. It was Saturday night, yet they offered to stay late and take care of me. WOW! Not only did I get great mani/pedi service, they gave me free flip-flops & and mini-back & neck massage while my nails were drying. Compared to the prices I pay in CA, I feel I really got a great deal.

I have ben living in midtown since 1993. There have been a few nail salons that have come along that initially were very good (Nails NY specifically), but they've either become too crowded or the quality of their work has declined. I have since found a salon closer to where I work. However, Serenity is a very welcomed addition to the neighborhood. Like others have said--it's very clean--which is huge--especially since reports of nail infections have been cropping up about nail salons--the customer service is great--i've been there 3 times and they remember my name every time--it's a nice touch. They use clean utensils every time. And the massage therapist actaully knows how to give a massage--great shiatsu 10 minute massage. Highly recommended--make your way over there.

I've lived in Midtown West for quite a few years now and have been to just about every salon in the neighborhood. This is by far the best salon - the cleanest/most sanitary, friendliest, most accomodating, etc. You will fork over a few more bucks compared to its neighboring competitors, but it is well worth the $. Customer service is a priority here and everyone is treated like a VIP!

I noticed this place during my lunch hour. It is discreetly located upstairs away from street traffic & midtown crowds. Not only was the service amazingly fast, but it was very clean and very relaxing. No waiting, great manicure, and they even offer facials and massages. I will definetely go back!
