Liars and crooks. Sent us wrong chairs and when complained they kept on playing games as it is being shipped, or it is shipping tomorrow, next week and ... It has been 4 months since we ordered...
Stay away from them they are crooks! Cyrus and Leo are both liars...

They basically stole my money. They charged me in August 2011 for near 2000$ and I never received the items or my refund. They change their phone numbers often. BBB does not recognized them and they have 40 or so unsolved cases. I am currently seeking legal advice in the matter.

This is the worst experience I ever had shopping. Please stay away from these guys if you want to save yourself a lot of money, aggravation and stress. This, so called ??company? is the same as Tiger Furniture, modernfurniture-nj.com and many other names they have to hide their criminal nature.
So here is my long story short ? On March, 28 2011 I ordered from their web site laflat.com a complete dining room set ?? table with 6 side chairs, 2 arm chairs, buffet, curio and mirror for more than $4500. The delivery was supposed to happen in mid May. After the date passed, we called to check what is going on with our order. We were told that they only have the table, buffet and 6 side chairs and can deliver it, and the rest of the order will be delivered in 3 weeks. We agreed to have the order delivered on parts and paid with PayPal. Then they kept postponing the delivery not giving any reasonable explanation. Finally on July 15 they delivered the table, buffet and 6 side chairs, but 2 of the chairs were broken and we did not accept them, which we noted on the delivery slip. Since then, already 2 months (more than 6 months from placing the order) we keep calling about the rest of the order and the two replacement chairs and still got nothing. They just came up with different lies to buy time. Twice they scheduled delivery and did not show up. We requested that they return our money and get the furniture they delivered back because we are not happy with having only 4 chairs. Now they do not answer are phone calls or emails, no replay from them whatsoever ?

... mmmm me and my sister just get 2 new couches and dining set, everything is ok, and looking good, except a few scratches on right side of table top... i was talk to somebody and they tell me - send us the pics, bla bla bla... after that they gave me the call with confirmation... 2 weeks i have to wait 2 weeks and they gonna replace that.so am happy.

These people are straight crooks. They took the money out of my account for a couch I never recieved. You can never ever get through to customer service. Only an answering machine. I was only able to contact a sales rep named Alice by email. It was non stop excuses as to why I did not recieve my couch. After 3 months I was able to cancel my order without a %40 fee. Then I had to wait an additional 2 weeks for a refund. Once that time had passed I once again could not get a hold of anyone so I called the sales line not the cutomer service line over and over until I got a response. Terrible, chip made furniture for a lot of money. Sale people , including boss and his managers , are liars that will fool you by promising anything you want in any color, making you to buy and then you will be waiting for the furniture, that suppose to come in 4 week, for 6 month. And when it finally comes in different color they will promise you to order replacement for the covers and it will never happen - you will call 3 times a week and will hear how hard they are trying to get the order from China for you . In another 3 month you will find out that the factory they are working with don??t accept their orders anymore (they probably screwed them too and they don??t want to have deal with these people anymore or it just another lie!) and you will never see your the furniture ,that you paid a few thousand dollars for, in color you expected to see. When you ask them what you suppose to do now they simply hung up with you , and it is no way to put boss on the phone and they will never return your phone calls . Now to refurnish the living set we have and pillows for the bed in color we wanted will cost us another few thousand dollars. NEVER EVER HAVE DEAL WITH LA FLAT FURNITURE. If you in have problems with them already call to Help Me Howard from WPIX for help ?? this is what we are going to do now!

I placed an order for a couch and a bedroom set in the first week of Feb/2010. The terms were that the bedroom set was in stock and i should have it delivered within a week. This was 100% accurate and this worked out perfectly. The couch was a custom order from the factory, we agreed the time to delivery was between 2 and 3 months. The total cost was $2000 and I left a $1000 deposit. I was strung along with various stories about issues for 6 months. Finally on August 2nd 2010 (6 months later) and without a couch i was fed up and requested a refund. I got an e-mail stating that the check would be mailed out "today". It is now August 16th and I have not gotten my refund check. I have called and they claimed they did not know what address to send it to. They had a delivery address on my order and a billing address on my order. They could have sent it to either. But, they could have just called and cleared it up, but they did not. Now they have claimed mail can only go out on Friday's since they cant just drop it in a mailbox. So that means the check will only go out August 20th and get to me around the 25th of August assuming they will stick to their word. So best case I am looking over a 3 week wait for my refund. This is totally unacceptable and unprofessional.

CROOKS!!! These guys are the absolutely worst. Do not buy from them. I was threatened with bodily harm for asking for a invoice for a furniture they delivered over a month late. I am going to look for ways to shut these guys down. They are bunch of mafia guys who have no concept of customer service and are rude. Their customer service guy called me an A******. Can you believe these guys???? Maybe they are from another place where this type of behavior is tolerated but this is America and we all need to shut these guys down and send them to jail.

I purchased a bedroom set almost one year ago. They told me I would have it within 5 weeks, it was delivered 3 months later at 10pm at night. Draws not closing properly, light not working at all. I have asked them to send someone to take care of the problems. Ah, as said, its been almost a year and no contact. They are very good at making promises that they don't keep. Tehir level of customer service may very well be below ZERO. I would advise anyone wanting to purchase from them to think twice or to look elsewhere. Don't make the same mistake I did!

This place is owned by the Ukraine mafia. They are not russians but Ukrainians.If you visit their New Jersey showroom you will see what I am talking about. First brand new luxury cars sitting outside. Inside Its a bounch of guys sitting around bulls**ting in a nasty and dirty warehouse.I bought furniture from these people and they delivered the wrong color. They promised to get me the right color which never happened. I cannot belive that they are still in business. Looks like thay have closed in New York and Philly their stores since I bought furniture from them. Stay away. In fact run away and find another place to get your furniture from.

I am currently working with a lawyer and the NJ AG Office to bring up both civil and criminal charges against this company.
This company is the WORST company I have every dealt with. They didn't deliver any product (it has been 6 months), they first refused to give me a refund, and when they finally did, the check bounced. I am now going to court with them to get my full refund. This company should be shut down by the NJ Attorney General's Office and the Dept of Consumer Affairs. I have not read too much good about this company and I have now filed with the NJ AG.

Do yourself a favor... do not shop with this company. Check all of the reviews first. If you value your money, time and customer service, you'll be HIGHLY disappointed. After a complete lack of response regarding my order, I finally canceled it as well as my credit card. I notified the company of this via voice mail and email. Once I finally received a response, I told "Henry" (an employee of laflat group) that I would work very hard to destroy their reputation. See his response:

This company is one of the largest rip-off artists in the country. IF you are lucky to receive your furniture (and that??s a big IF) then you are one of the lucky ones. They delivered the wrong furniture and the piece they delivered was damaged to top it all off. They promised to replace it in 2 weeks, but a couple of months and many unanswered messages later (they rarely pick up the phone), I called my credit card company and it looks like they are getting my money back.

These guys are running their business under 2 names : "LaFlat Group" and "LaFlat, Inc.". You can find them under both names on the Better Business Bureau website, I suggest you take a look before you do business with them. They remind me very much of organized crime...

Well, I just recently purchased an appt. in New Jersey and after endless searching on-line and in stores and by comparing prices Laflat was the best in terms of working with me and around my budget, As we all know with this economy it's hard to drop a load of money. Anyways 3 weeks later I had all my furniture and it was installed by two young guys. The delivery was great they cleaned up the mess and where very quick and nice.
