Whatever you do, do not use this locksmith. My mother is in the hospital and I needed to change the locks on her house because of a tenant who moved out without leaving the keys. They sent someone by in the middle of the night in an unmarked vehicle who looked at the locks to be replaced and said, "You want a good deal?" First, he offered to replace each lock for $134.00. When I told him this was outrageous, he offered to do it for $85.00 per lock, plus a $40.00 trip fee. If I had been thinking clearly, I would have declined. Unfortunately, I was not and wound up paying an exorbitant rate of $308.00 to have the three locks changed. After the locksmith left, I looked more closely at the receipt. It didn't even have the company's name and address. Go with a company that has standard rates that they are willing to quote to you over the phone, not a company that tells you they have been in business for 20 years when in reality they are just a dispatcher for local con-artists that they don't even know.
