I live in the neighborhood, and although BCC has started to become the go-to spot for the local hipster, I will never ever stop getting toe-up drunk in here. No matter how many poseurs drop in. I've just learned to come in later in the evening when the girls with dady issues and the emaciated, white jeans wearing boys have moved on to Union Pool. John and the staff rock, the specials rock and I love the golf course too!
Pros: PBrs and Old crow, no one getting too upset if you get drunk off your a**
Cons: Hipsters are taking over
i love this bar more than i love my parents. the bartenders never remind me of how retarded i was the previous evening/morning.
Pros: ergonomicly pleasing stools
Cons: not open 24 hours a day
This bar revels in it's diveness. Great servers and a friendly crowd- this place can be packed during prime hours.
Don't be scared away by the membership process. Non members are welcome at the bar as well. Even the club course (complete with PBR can windmill) is open to nonmembers. And getting a membership is as easy as meeting any two regualrs hanging out at the bar.
I'd love to check out this place, I'm relatively new to Queens, and want to go but you need 2 referrals! Anyone willing to help me out with that would be appreciated~ aim = erikasnacks
In a neighborhood full of bars, the Country Club manages to serve a real purpose. That purpose being a real bar. A great mix of people - working professionals, colorful neighborhood natives, cool kids. A perfect place for unwinding after work for a generous happy hour as well as a perfect place for a lively weekend. Bartenders treat their job as a profession - a rarity in Williamsburg - these guys and girls actually know how to make drinks and make you feel welcome! So venture off of Bedford - it'll be worth your while.
Pros: Bartenders, Prices
gOOD PRICED DRINKS, pHOTOBOOTH(4PICS FOR $3)too cold for mini golf, but damn, they crank their heat! I'd hate to pay their heating bill!
Fun bar, great bartenders, good drinks, one of the very few places to play mini golf in Brooklyn. Good times.
Pros: great atmosphere
I heart the Bushwick Country Club because it's the best new bar in the neighborhood, it's comfortable, divey without being smelly, arty without being snooty, fun fun fun!
The bartenders are sweet and personable, the drinks are reasonably priced, and once you figure out the quirks of the mini golf course you'll realize it's actually not impossible. (I still suck though.)
Pros: comfortable, nice outside area, mini golf
Cheap Beer, Hot Broads, & Cheap Beer. A great dive. amusing atmosphere. and the Filet Mignon is to die for.
GO THERE NOW. The chicks that hang out at this place in this part of town are freakin hot. No to mention that the beer is tasty and cheap. The atmosphere makes it though. Bout time somebody got a decent bar together in this neighborhood.
Pros: hot chicks, sexy, dark and fun
This place is so fun. The jukebox is great and the bartenders are the best in the city.
my newest, and all-time favorite hang. completely free to relax or play a few holes of golf; everything's alright.
Pros: cool barkeep, cool decor, photo booth!
The place is everything I dreamed a neighborhood bar should be! Cheap drinks and beer! The selection on tap is all small companys. The Red Tail ($5)ale was what I had, while my friend had the 19th hole($4). The back yard is huge with six holes of Mini Golf! We got drunk and ended in the photobooth to record our debuachery. A must see.
Pros: inexpensive, great selection, Backyard
