.

My husband and I lived in Carriage Hill for 2 years. They charge a 300$ non refundable pet fee for any damages to the carpets, but even when you leave, they still charge you 90$ to have the carpets cleaned. They were horrible with getting the walkways clean when it snowed. I was 9 months pregnant and slipped on the walkway because they neglected to put salt down. Someone slipped on the stairs heading to the parking lot and while they were holding onto the railing, it totally collapsed. It was still broken when we moved out and that was about four months after it had broke.
Then I complained because the smoke from the apartment below was coming in through the heating vents and the pipes in the sink, and they did nothing about it. They said they would come and seal the vents and never did. Our clothes smelled like smoke all the time and we are not smokers. The carpets were filthy when we moved in, we complained about it and they said they would look into it, and never did.
They expected us to walk our dogs in a designated area, but at night, there was no proper lighting to walk the dogs. You couldn't see a thing. They sent letters to everyone that had pets saying that we didn't walk our dogs in the proper areas and we were going to get charged a $250 fine because of it.
There are no security cameras in the parking lot. Someone broke into our car along with three other cars and stole items from the cars. The apartment complex did nothing about it.
The walls are so thin, you could hear your neighbor sneeze. If you live on the bottom floor, be prepared to hear every little step the people above you make. If you don't want to hear every step, then you have to pay more money to live on the second floor because they charge you extra because you have a tiny patio.
To top it all off, they were charging us $1465/month to live there in a 2 bedroom. We moved 5 minutes away and got a brand new townhouse with a garage, our own driveway, three bedrooms, and 2 and a half baths for $1350. NEED I SAY MORE!
