8 of us went to dinner --a dinner party for my wife's birthday
we were seated at 6:10 and asked to leave at 8:30 because someone was waiting for the table '--the restaurant had plenty of tables but apparently we were asked to leave because someone wanted THAT TABLE
Great to spend 500 dollars on dinner to be embarrassed in front of your friends and family
Big Tony

WE SPENT 500 ON A SMALL DINNER PARY
STAFF WAS RUDE --WHEN I ASKED IF THERFE WERE ANY HOUSE CARAFES THE WAITER SMIRKED
WATER GLASSES WERE EMPTY
WINE WAS LEFT ON THE TABLE AND NOT POURED
WE WERE TOLD RUDELY THAT WE WOULD HAVE TO LEAVE BECAUSE SOMEONE ELSE WAS WAITING ON OUR TABLE ---AT 8;30 PM THERE WERE LOTS OF TABLES EMPTY --SO I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY WE WERE PRACTICALLY ESCORTED OUT AND TREATED LIKE WE COULDNT PAY THE BILL
FOOD WAS JUST ORDINARY --THEIR VERSION OF NEW YORK CALAMARI SHOWS THEY HAVE NEVER EATEN IN NEW YORK--I DONT THINK ANY PLACE IN NEW YORK COATS THEIR CALAMARI IN HOT SAUCE--

the dining room is very nice, and the atmoshpere romantic.... but the menu left us wanting more and the entrees were a bit over priced. my meal was good, but other patrons dining with me weren't so happy.

New to the area from Chicago, we tried Raffaello's on a recommendation and were pleasantly surprised with the good food. Service was good. Although they seated us late for our reservation, they gave us a free antipasto plate to make up for the inconvience. There was an excellent selection of Italian food and several specials to choose from as well. The decor needs some updating from the 80s style of mirrored walls, the food should change a beat. I would definitely dine here again if I had Italian cravings.
