I have NEVER been treated so poorly in my life, nor have I ever been so embarrassed! I stopped in with my husband, business partner and an employee to have a late dinner. A waitress came up to my employee and told him he would not be able to wear his black t-shirt in there. We asked why and she couldn't really give an answer except that it was dress code. We were the only 4 people in the dining area. She didn't say anything to my husband, who also was wearing a black t-shirt. We told her we were working and showed her our badges. When our waitress came to take drink orders, we asked her what that was about, she said she didn't know and I made the comment that it must be because my employee was black. She laughed it off. After waiting 1 hour for our food and manager came to the table. He didn't introduce himself, he didn't say sorry for interupting and asked to see some ID. No one was drinking and we were very clearly having a business discusion about a fugitive. He, very aggressively, demands ID from my employee and husband, saying that because of all the gng affiliation with black t-shirts that he has to see their ID's. I was also wearing a black t-shirt, but he never asked for my ID. He studied my emplpyee's ID and preceeded to interview us as to what we were doing. We refused to answer and he left. We walked out before we got our meal because we felt harrassed and discriminated against. I can promise you, none of us looked like we were gng affiliated, nor were any of us the criminals he accused us of being. 3 of us own very successful businesses and work extremely hard to be professional...not to mention ALL of us have state ID numbers that require background checks. When we are apprehending a fugitive we dress in dark clothing and try to blend with our surroundings as much as possible. We should not be harrassed and interviewed by some restaurant manager who doesn't need to know our "story" in order to serve us. All he needs to know is that we are the customers, we intend on having dinner and we intend to pay for the service provided. NOT TO MENTION WE WERE THE ONLY PEOPLE IN THE PLACE. I can certainly understand upholding a dress code on Friday and Saturday night, but we were in on a Tuesday at 10pm.

Additionally, there were signs posted everywhere stated a required 18% grat. added to all checks after 9pm. I tip VERY well for good service and I can do the math on my own. (I have a master's degree in education from UVA- I think I can do math!) I can also decide on my own if I want to give a waitress my normal 20% tip for good service or a slightly less percentage depending on how bad she was. It is truely insulting and makes me wonder exactly how bad service is when they force a tip.

Bad service by the bar tender, and the waitress, food had no taste.I will give them a couple of years and they
will be gone.No big screen TV is going to help this restaurant .I heard good things about this reatuarant,
but when I finally went for dinner I was dissapointed. The buttom needs to set a higher standard for its restaurants because of the floodings, being in the city, and the parking.
