This is the worst company to deal with. They use bait and switch offers where they advertise a good product at low price and declare it out of stock upon arrival. Then offer you an inferior product for more money. They have very discourteous and unreliable salesmen. The last insult of all though is at delivery and so called "installation." That is when you get to meet the owner of the company! He delivers your item and gives you his "expert" opinion that you need to purchase additional attachments (give him another $150 on top of the $75 delivery charge!) or he cannot install it. He is more discourteous than his employees! What a creep! I threw him out and installed it myself. I will never deal with these crooks again!!

Purchased 2 AC units from eba, delivered and installed by contractors used by eba. Trouble starts immediately: 1 unit breaks circuit after only 3 minutes, won't run. I consult with eba "customer service (difficult to reach directly: leave # and wait for callback)", determine unit not overloading circuit. "Customer service" calls and connects me with manufacturer in Tennessee and leaves me on phone with GE, in effect "Goodby and good luck!" after unit only in apt.1 day and never worked! Next day GE-approved servicer looks at unit and says it was a lemon, can't understand why eba left me hanging with GE and all the wait and bother that that entails rather than just replacing it themselves. Call eba, get polite runaround, finally eba agrees to replace unit. They agree to call me on cell 1/2 hr before delivery of replacement unit so I can leave nearby workplace to meet them; instead I get a call that installers are on my front stoop and will only wait 15 minutes. They only wait 5 minutes. I get there <15 min: no AC, no installers. Call eba, told delivery/installation crew would come back in approx. 30 minutes. Several calls and almost 5 1/2 hrs later replacement unit finally arrives (accompanied by rude installers, no explanation, no apology)! Once you've made your purchase, good luck with customer service! Buyer beware!

Cons: 1 out of 2 AC's sold was a "lemon"; terrible customer service & communication experience here (felt like a "hot potato" the way I was passed around)

I would give 0 stars to EBA Wholesale Corporation in Brooklyn for their absolute wretched customer service. Once they sell you your unit, should you have any repair or replacement issues, good luck, because they refuse to assist you or do so with such attitude. I had one customer service representative hang up on me after I relayed a message from the manufacturer that it was her responsibility to get in touch with them, not mine. Even representatives from the manufacturer were aware of the bad reputation of EBA. I would strongly advise anyone not to purchase from this store.

I would give 0 stars to EBA Wholesale Corporation in Brooklyn for their absolute wretched customer service. Once they sell you your unit, should you have any repair or replacement issues, good luck, because they refuse to assist you or do so with such attitude. I had one customer service representative hang up on me after I relayed a message from the manufacturer that it was her responsibility to get in touch with them, not mine. Even representatives from the manufacturer were aware of the bad reputation of EBA. I would strongly advise anyone not to purchase from this store.
