My children were served very undercooked chicken on chicken parmigian subs. They are 3 and 5 and were having trouble chewing it and said it tasted funny. I opened the chicken only to find it pink and rubbery. The waiter was very professional about it. He agreed that it was undercooked, apologized and offered to get the manager. The manager, an older woman, speaking broken English, assured me it was not undercooked and that my children would be fine. I asked her what type of chicken was used, fresh or frozen and she told me frozen, precooked. That was obviously not the case. She finally, after much arguing, offered to discount one of the subs. I asked our waiter for a container to take the food home, incase my children got sick and I had to take them to the ER. He obliged. When I went to pay the bill, I told the manager that I was not paying for either of the meals. She said if that was the case, then I had to leave the food. I proceeded to tell her that I was not leaving the food, but taking it just incase it was needed, that all she would do was throw it away. It was obvious that she did not want me to leave with the food. Another manager showed up, and she told him what was happening. He asked to see the chicken and agreed it was undercooked. BUT, he said that the chicken was fresh chicken, breaded daily there. They argued between themselves. On my way out, other customers actually stopped me and said, "It's about time someone stood up to her." Also, one of the employees came out to the parking lot and told me that this happens often, and that the "manager" is always rude. As of now, 4 hours later, my 3 year old is throwing up. Don't risk it, it isn't worth it.

We had a pretty good experience at the Double T Diner. When we arrived we had 3 small kids in tow and they did a good job of accommodating us. They brought crayons and paper for the children to color with and made sure the boys were happy. Happy kids equal happy parents.

The food was pretty good, not excellent but good. The child's portions were pretty big and more like adult portions so we could have split one meal between the three of them but they did seem to enjoy the food.

Service was very friendly and fast. Overall I would recommend and eat at this place again.
