Irvington floors did a sloppy installation using scrap wood around the borders of the room. I was expecting a quality job for $8,500 but got the run around. The installer scraped up my freshly painted walls, and marked up tthe brand new floor with permenant marker. The floor has many gaps and squeaks which the manager said is "normal" they never finished the job, I have been waiting for 8 months and no one ever came back to fill in the numerous nail holes in the floor. I was to wait a year as they told me the gaps might get better. I was told if I want the floor looked at by a professional it will cost me $600 more. Who ever heard of such a thing? The only guarantee I got was that they are guaranteed not to return your calls or stand by their word. Stay away from this company they are over priced, sloppy, and give a fake installation guarantee. For a quality installation and a good looking floor definitely shop somewhere else and save yourself from what Irvington Floors has put us through. I posted a picture of one of the many areas they used small crooked pieces around the border of the room. See for yourself. Irvington Floors did the worst job I had ever seen.
