I take my puppy rocky to club pet. He loves it there.....he knows when we pull into the parking lot because he starts jumping around and runs through the doors. The people there are very nice and make me feel very comfortable leaving my dog with them. They let me call anytime and check on him. Since he is a puppy we get him the total spa package which is great and affordable. He goes on walks and gets playtimes three times a day with a treat at night. I love club pet and would never use anybody else for my baby!!

One cannot put a price on peace of mind. This is definitely true when it comes to Club Pet, and that's why I take my dogs here when I am out of town. I have been boarding my pets here for 8 years. The dogs were well cared for and happy. Price is very affordable and the facilities are well kept. Will definitely use this facility for the next trip I can't take them along.

We have tried numerous places around town and Club Pet is the best!. Our three dogs LOVE going there and are really excited each and every time they visit, whether for daycare or for boarding. The facilities are large, clean, and welcoming and the team is friendly, knowledgeable and truly loves dogs and their work. There is no better place in town to leave your loved ones!

I have nothing but RAVE reviews for Club Pet! My dog absolutely adores this place. Granted he only gets to visit every so often but once we're in the car and turning into the place where this establishment is located, he goes absolutely nuts. Club Pet offers a comfortable and caring atmosphere with features of a home environment and provides exceptional service and care for my dog. Another thing that I love at Club Pet is the fact that their staffs have experience and are friendly and really understanding

Woof! My name is Prince. I am a 150lbs and proud of it. (Some humans mistakenly call me Marmeduke) I luv Club Pet. I get so excited when Mom packs my suitcases. I can barely contain my excitement because I know I am going to Camp.

My human servants at Club Pet shower me with love and affection. I do believe I am one of their favorites even though I have caught them giving other campers the same kind of attention.

The food is delicious and my mom packs lots of treats for me so I can snack between meals. Something I rarely do at home. My mom doesn't want me to get fat. As if.

Camp is so much more fun than home. Even though my parents leave Animal Planet on for me when they are at work. AP has too many shows about cats and too many reruns. Boring! At Camp I run and play all day long and get to bark as much as I want without getting scolded. My best dog friends even get a room beside me when we are there at the same time. It's a dog paradise.

I give Club Pet my highest rating. 2 paws up!!!

I am new to the area and had heard of this place. My Blk Lab has only been in a Kennel 1 other time. She is a beautiful looking dog. I asked when we dropped her off over the Xmas holiday if I could have a tour of the place. They were very accommodating but when they took her leash off the 1st thing they did was use a choke collar. My radar went up at that point. We returned early from our Holiday because I kept feeling something was not right with this place. Sure enough, we picked up our dog early and she had a large gash on her nose that had been bleeding, the skin around her mouth was completely raw and very red. She had large red scratches in her ears. Wait that is not all of it, she had diarrhea and large amounts of Blood. She was not the same dog that was dropped off just before Xmas. I showed and reviewed the situations with employees and they said nothing happened to her. RIGHT !!!! But I was still charged full price without any answers. DONOT USE THEM!!!!!..... I have pictures if anyone wants to see the condition. NO STARS FOR THIS PLACE!

Four the past several years I have left my four (now three) large dogs at Club Pet for two months at a time three times a year due to my work. I chose this facility after visiting almost a dozen others in the Fairfax County area; I was very pleased with the combination of services and price, and have had no reason to be disappointed since that initial choice. The dogs are always excited to go there, the staff remembers them and greets them by name, and when I get them back they are happy and healthy.

When one of my dogs got a dental abcess, they noticed immediately and called my emergency contact for instructions. When I worried that one dog was too thin, they monitored her meals and she gained the needed amount of weight while she was there. They monitor one dog's nervous habit of licking and biting himself, and report when I pick him up if his coat isn't perfect again yet. If a dog needs medication, they remember to provide it correctly.

I am surprised that two other reviewers said they weren't allowed to look at the kennels. I certainly was, or would not have chosen this as the place to leave my dogs. This is not one of those delusional places where dogs sleep on sofas and wear party hats; it is an older facility, but is as clean as I would ever reasonably expect (I am not new to kennels - I have used commercial kennels all over the world) and when I get my dogs back I am always satisfied with their condition. I would not think of using a different facility.

At the recommendation of a friend we decided to check out Club Pet as a boarding facility. We took our 9 month old puppy with us. We were very pleased and boarded our dog there for 5 days. We took advantage of their wonderful trainer James and had him work with our pup on her basic obedience. She is a German Shepherd so she loves to work. We were thrilled to see the results. We have gone back twice since to work with James and our dog cannot wait to get in the door. We plan to be customers here for a long time. The staff is wonderful and our dog appears to like it there.

My Husband took our dog at Club pet on a Friday for a week long stay and as my five year old daughter tries to give the dog a hug one of the staff members snatches the dog from my husband and says " Lets not make this any worse that it already is" (This just starts our story) He took with her twenty pounds of her own dog food with as she is on a special diet along with a measuring cup and instructed the staff at club pet how much to feed her. (which was approximately a pound and a half a day) on Wednesday I get a call from Club pet that they are out of food, and their excuse was "oh it must have gotten spilled or something" but we will have to go get her more and charge you for it! So I argued Why is this my fault and I was told "Well we need to feed your dog so We will take care of it ( and they still charged me!) The worst part of all was when we went to pick up the dog she had sores all over her elbows where they just let her lay out on the concrete and nobody checked on her. Her Hair was missing and she had dried blood and sores all over her. I called the manager just furious and all she said was the groomer should have noticed this. and my question way why didn't anybody see this all week!!!!!! I felt terrible like the dog had been abused! and her excuse was well some kennels have rubber pads and some don't. So I said so you take of some dogs better than others???? It just cost me $304.00 for my dog to be abused!!! and neglected. I will never take another pet there again and hope anyone with a pet really thinks twice about using their facility.

I used to work at club pet back in 2006, let me say that i liked working here, they have 4 kennel areas, Main (off of the kitchen,) Crew (parts for small dogs that cant bare the elements) and L (where we put Labs, and larger dogs) *L is completely closed in* and Lock out (it has out door and indoor runs) the runs are 3 feet by 12 witha trap door to shut them in at night when its cold rainy or whatever,,,our morning chores (out of our 12 hour day) are feeding and watering the dogs, check for sick ones, take the dogs from the kitchen area out to go to the bathroom bring the dogs to the grooming room that were going home, they were bathed and brushed and waited to go home..... when a sick dog was found we would call a local vet and she would come and examine the dog... sometimes the owner was called and the dog was sent home otherwise it was taken to the infirmary and watched closer.and then play times... play times were extra, they were like 50 dollars on top of the 35 or some... most people didn't get them due to the price. but we had a back area where we would let them run around. each play time was 1 hour.then the dogs were returned back to their kennel, then we addmited dogs coming in,then dinner came, owners either brought food for them or they got the "kennel brand" i was proplan mixed with wet... it was usually sprinkled with chicken broth for flavor, after the dogs ate we went around and locked them in this was the fun part. we usually called their names and usually they would come running and wed shut the door leaving them in a 3 by 4 indoor run. the geriatric dogs needed more help, for those we would get 2 people. usually i would go into the run (unless he was cage brave or a bitter) and herd the dog in, the dog was then giving a biscuit as a good boy sorta thing. after the dogs were locked in we slipped a lock to keep them in.oh i forgot the cleaning part....we had a group of Hispanic cleaners they would spray down the kennels and and then they were squeegeed down.... not the best way to clean things but when the people you work with don't speak English very well..and then the last 30 minutes was free time, wed clean up the offices, but usually i found a dog and hung out with it, some of the dogs have a hard time separating from their owneres so my primary job was to hang out with the dogs make them feel loved and i loved that job.and then they had 2 employees spend the night and check on the dogs during the night...and then the day started all over again.

Okay, I have never boarded my dog at Club Pet but I have known 2 people who worked there and from what I've heard about the kennel from them I never would board my dog there! First of all, there are rats... yes, rats! Huge rats apparently, whose population was kept down only by the snakes that also lived there, that is, until they were able to get rid of those. Secondly, "prince & princess", "duke & duchess", etc. packages? Yeah right! The dogs never leave their run. And then there are the horrific stories of dogs who escaped and got hit by cars, and that's only the beginning.By the way, look closely at those first three 5-star reviews, 2 of them written on the same day and the other a few days before all by "anonymous", all equally glowing with no negative or even neutral feedback... I agree with another reviewer, HIGHLY SUSPECT!!!

So my wife and I left our two Huskies here for a recent holiday...and we will never go back again. After coming back home, both of our dogs had developed intestinal illnesses. Both had very bad diarrhea for 3-4 days. When we called the staff, they stated that the illnesses they had developed were a normal part of boarding a dog and that they weren't responsible.

After going to our vets office, our vet scolded us for going to Club Pet. We couldn't believe it. Our vets office, in Fairfax County, was aware of how poor a facility Club Pet is. When speaking to our friends about our experience, one of our friends, a dog owner, scolded us as well for using Club Pet.

We felt so badly for our dogs. If we had only done a little bit of research, we would have realized that Club Pet is unsafe and has a very poor and notorious history in Northern Virginia. Fortunately, no long term sequelae has befallen our dogs and they are still as healthy as ever.

A note; some of the previous "positive" reviews are suspect. One positive reviewer remarks on the size of the kennels. After going here, I can tell you, the staff does not allow owners to examine/inspect the premises. How an owner could know this info is curious. Also, another owner noted a line of 20 people when they arrived...also, very suspect. The size of the office and available parking could never accomodate a line of 20 people...its a very small facility.

Due to last minute plans to visit this area this was the only kennel with space available over Thanksgiving. When I dropped my dog off they would not allow me to see where she would be kept and they took her away to be inspected for fleas. Which she has never had. I was shown a small section of runs and the kitchen area. There was an unpleasant odor in the kitchen such as old food. In the exercise area a dog was being walked on a leash up and down the area, no playing, no interaction. When I picked her up her feet were wet and her fur was sticky. The attendant explained that she sprayed her with a scent and her feet were wet from the runs being cleaned. I don't expect my dog to be in the run when it is being cleaned or put in it while it is still wet. After getting her in the car the terrible odor from her was almost overpowering. She was only there two days. After getting her home she was very itchy and I found small welts and bumps on the back tops of her back legs. I will never use this kennel and I certainly do not recommend it to anyone.

I should preface this review by saying that I don't give bad reviews regularly, nor am I a psycho pet owner that never kennels her dog. We have used Club Pet on several occasions and have always been happy. Unfortunately, on our dog's last 10-day stay, he came back in very poor condition. He had what our vet thought could be a chemical burn on his back with 100s of little blisters and oozing scabs (although she and the other vets in their office could not be sure of the cause - they had never seen anything like it before). He stayed overnight at the vet's office and was loaded up with steroids and antibiotics. Fortunately he is fine now. We found out that another dog boarded there at the same time had the same problem and that dog's vet didn't know what the problem was either. We spoke to Club Pet on several occasions and although they tried to be helpful, they refused to give us any of our money back. Honestly, that is a really poor business practice since something clearly happened to him while he was there for 10 days and it was not an alergic reaction because he was boarded their previously without issues and they claim they use the same products. Our vet also said that this was not an alergic rash.

We will NEVER go back there and are telling all of our friends and co-workers to never use them either. I am a lawyer and I would bring an action against them to at least get our money back but honestly, it isn't worth my time and I would rather stop other people from using them instead. Had they just apologized and given our money back, I would have been pleased.

My dogs are wild about Club Pet. The kennel runs are very large and can easily accommodate my 2 100 pounders who hate to be separated. They always come home tired(from playing all day!) and very happy. The Club Pet staff is very knowledgeable. I can tell they truly are animal lovers. I highly recommend Club Pet.

I have used many kennels in the Northern Virginia area. When I first went to Club Pet I thought they were to busy to take care of me and my dogs the way that I expected, they had a line of about 20 people and their pets waiting to check in. I was wrong. The staff was very pleasant and the dogs came home in great condition, in fact they wanted to go back in the door as we were leaving. Now that we have used their service many times, my guys know when we are getting close to the kennel, and start getting excited until they get through the door.

At first I was worried about leaving my dog for boarding. By the third visit, my dog could not wait to get in the door, and pulled the attendant to get back into the kennel area. The staff was very nice, and knew my dog's name by sight, and " Nadine " just loves going there.
