Vezzo is a cute thin crust pizzeria in Murray Hill that never fails to deliver great food. I often go for lunch with coworkers and we especially like it when we can sit outside. You have a bunch of options to choose from: slice of pizza and house salad - $5, personal pizza and house salad - $10, half a sandwich and salad ~$8. We all look forward to the house salads because it's seriously one of the best we've had. The garlic dressing is so delicious and the marinated mushrooms and olives are a nice addition. We also love the pizza and sandwiches, so it's a sure-fire win no matter what you choose. The only issues are that the service can be slow and you may need to wait a long time for a table during the lunch rush period. But if you can squeeze in and you have a little time to spare, go for it!

I recently went here when i visited my sister in NYC. We had a group of 5 girls and we all just decided on splitting 2 big pizzas. The pizzas were pretty good. Nothing too special which was kind of a let down. They did let us do half and half on both of them so that was good. The meatball pizza was ok--we just wish the meatballs were broken up more. The wine was good and the waitress let us stay there for quite awhile even after we finished. All in all, a good place, but not sure I'd run back there.

They have really good pizza. Good service and reasonable prices. They need to invest in some wine glasses, but they do have a decent bar. If you want great pizza and a smile, go here. This is not regular pizza. They make everything to order and it is superbly delicious.

Pros: Great Pizza

Cons: Salads and antipasto, not so good

The thin crust pizza along with a Caesar Salad is delicious!
Vezzo is a regular place for us. When we can't go to the restaurant we order in and we're never disappointed. Highly recommended!

My brother and I work about 15 blocks from each other and stumbled upon Vezzo during our biweekly lunch outing. We were trying this place because CPK on Park seemed too busy - but since we started going, we haven't been ANYWHERE else. We get the exact same thing every single time... Chixpotle pizza with jalapenos on the side. It's SO good that in the days before we go to lunch, we start emailing each other saying "Vezzo vezzo vezzo"... and when one of us can't make it, we usually have our pizza delivered!! God, this place is good. By the way, we also love the Bruschetta.

I didn't give it the FULL five star rating because sometimes it seems like the service is a bit standoffish... and of course, the tiny tables don't make it the easiest meal.

It's so worth it though. My mouth is watering already because he and I are going this Wednesday. We keep swearing we'll try something new there, but we just want the chixpotle too bad every time...!

Pros: PIZZA!!

Cons: small tables; service is not bad at all, but could be a bit better

Pros: Great food, nice people

Vezzo is like a dumb, attractive person--looks great from the outside but not much going on the inside. From the street the restaurant looks like it could be good, but once inside the food and ambiance give way to mediocrity.

tonight's biggest disapointment: not our secret anymore! so busy on a monday night but food was still so good.
delicious food, worth traveling from the west side for. the waitress is so funny. she is honest about what she likes and doesnt like on the menu which makes you trust here. but the food is the winner. cheap and delish!

My wife is 7 months pregnant and waited over 20 minutes just to place an order to go. The waitress/cashier served a customer who was standing behind my wife in line. But when my wife asked politely if she could take her order to go, the waitress/cashier ignored her and walked away. So my wife walked out without being served.
When she told me about how she was treated, I was upset with this and called to complain to the manager but they told me there is no management in the establishment. I then asked to speak to the owner but they said the owner hardly comes around. What?s more aggravating was that when I called they had me speak to a delivery boy and then a waitress, both who have no authority to help a customer.
As good as you may think the food is, the fact that an establishment DOES NOT have any supervision means the workers do WHATEVER they want. Whether it?s treating a customer poorly or contaminating the food, I would not trust a place with no supervision.
I am still waiting to speak to the owner of Vezzo to file my complaint.

I love their pizza, you can't beat the lunch specials, the house salad dressing is fantastic. It's really the best thin crust pizza I've ever had. My only issue is with their phone girl. She's nasty and rude and has a serious attitude problem as if I'm there to serve her instead of vice versa. Everything is a chore and an inconvenience for her, and nothing is friendly about her tone. If you're going there to eat in, you should enjoy the experience.

Growing up in Brooklyn, I consider myself a "Pizza Snob". You can't beat NY pizza and Vezzo joins the list. Thin crust and tasty, a slice with a house salad and iced tea was an absolute bargain at $7.00. If you;re in the area, don't miss it!

Vezzo has become my new favorite pizza place and in New York City that's quite an accomplishment! I love thin crust pizza and theirs is always fresh and tasty. If you want something different, try the pesto sauce instead of the marinara. Vezzo is also very warm with a cool atmosphere- a great hangout and a nice place to take friends or out-of-towners.

We love it! I have never written a review anywhere but I feel so strongly about keeping this pizza alive. It is worth the trip. We try to have the same waitress everytime -- a cheerful worldweary brutally honest brunette -- and she is always very kind to our daughter and very fast with our order. But the real standout is the pizza. Perfect and thin and all the toppings are fresh. We are there at least twice a week and you should be too.

Pros: wonderful food and great service

Cons: not enough tables, there is often a wait on tables on friday nights

Fantastic pizza! My girlfriend and I were blown away by how fresh the ingredients were, not to mention the sheer volume of choices! They have three different base sauces to choose from and then you may construct your own masterpiece accordingly. I was so jealous of my girlfriends pesto and cheese dish, with spicy Italian sausage crumbles and chunks of delicious garlic! Vezzo is the type of family owned pizza joint that I had always heard about before moving to New York, but that I have had trouble finding here. If you're looking for something much more than "Pizza-By-The-Slice" but you don't want to empty your wallet, check out this spot.

Pros: Lots of Variety, Great Pizza, Feels Clean and Homey

Cons: Service was a tad slow

Thank god we finally got good pizza in this neighborhood. Really fresh ingredients, great salads, a great bargain. Sweet and classy atmostphere, great wine list. Service is excellent and personable (well, we had one annoying waitress who was about 17 years old and made us wait for ages to order while she went on and on about her boyfriend to the next very bored table -- but other than that we have had very warm and smart service.) We go every week now!

This is real thin crust pizza and by far the best place to go for pizza in the neighborhood. I've been there several times already since it opened. Yum.
