We have been customers of Porters for years. 8 vehicles within 10 years. You would think by now we wouldn't have to go through the bull , but alas I was wrong...

Long story short... They undervalued the trade in by a min of 1,500 which was the lowest on the bluebook trade in AT THE DEALERS!!... Mid price was 10,334 .. They offered 7,000 for a van in GREAT condition! Then they raised the price on the vehicle we were looking at by 1,883.. It was listed for one price online and then they raised it... They want to do things very quickly so you cannot go do research...

Because of this, they have lost our business for good.. SO sad.. I hate the feeling of being taken advantage of... Shame on you PORTER!!!

Purchased a used '06 Surburban from Porter Chevy - Sales staff was great although they didnt have to do much as I researched all from the internet and I justed needed to test drive and see the vehicle....it listed for 22,000 talked to 20,000 and put down 6000 cash - they were a little slow to get the paper work done to finish the sale. Once the Sale was done is when the issues started - so i paid an additional $200 for Tags and registration and given a 60 day temp tag. Now I own 3 other vehicles and know that it just takes a few hours in Motor Vehicles to get the paper work processed - Granted they may have to wait to process multiple registrations but come on 60 days to wait for registration and when I call to question them about it they get an attitude.....wake up customers we dont have to take this abuse from businesses - I wont buy another car or anything from Porter Chevy - even the manager gave me attitude. Searching for the owners address so I can inform them that how in todays economy can he allow his managers and businesses treat customers like that - time to Boycott - there are other dealerships that would appreciate our business and are professional after the sale has taken place.

i was looking at an 02 silver mustang convertible listed at $5,500. i was all for it until i took it to a mechanic to have it inspected and found that there was a whole list of problems, two major issues being a head gasket leak and a rear main seal leak. all in all total repair cost will be over $2,000. i made an offer for $1,500 less than the listed price to compensate for the major problems, but he only offered to drop $500 off the price and refused to have his own mechanic fix it. the car is now listed at $5,990, i suppose to compensate for the repair costs any future buyer may ask for should they find the leaks, not to mention the bald tires, rear shocks, front break pads, cracked belt, etc. oh, and don't be surprised if he doesn't mention any of these problems. my advice is, don't trust the dealers, but if you still end up shopping here, at least get the car checked out. the checkup cost me $50, but it saved me over $7,000.

I read the bad reviews but I gave it a chance anyway. I'm so glad I did! We haven't even bought a car yet & already I'm impressed. The salesman was incredibly nice as was another sales woman who spoke to my husband and I. I already know based on the experience we had tonight that we're going to be satisfied customers. I have read these negative replys and quite frankly I could not disagree more. I don't know who the people at the dealership they were in contact with but obviously they were not professional. Over the years,I have either purchased or have had family or friends buy from this dealership and I will NEVER buy anywhere else. I am ALWAYS treated with respect and professionalism. Mr. Porter[Cory] always stresses to his guys to treat the customer the right way as if they were family. Great people and a great place to do bus.

I went there to look at 2 different cars. The first was a Equinox in April. I drove it and liked it but I wanted a 4 cylinder. The salesman said it "wasn't possible" to make a 4 cylinder in that car. I went home and was looking online at the chevy site. The 2010 is a 4 cylinder and comes out in June. Overall that salesman is helpful he just doesn't know his product. I asked him about pricing and he still doesn't know. I went tonight to look at a 4 cylinder Outlander. Their website said they had some in stock. I told the salesman what I wanted and he said not possible but he had 6 cylinder in. I again said no then he "remembered" an 08 left over fully loaded that he could get me with 0% financing for 60 months.. which 2 minutes later turned into 48 months. I didn't want all those options and again said no. He said hold on I'll be right back and started talking to another customer. I went to walk the lot. He came out and found me and chastised me for walking away. He then went to show me another vehicle priced 5k over base and leaned on the window sticker during the whole lecture. I said no thank you I want a 20k loan. He LAUGHED He said my car is worth 3 and I owe 4500 (it was appraised this weekend at 5) and I want a 27k car (which i don't) for 20k. I said no I want the LOAN for 20k and I'm uncomfortable and good bye. He followed me out to my car even after I was driving away asking me to come back and test drive some cars in 6 cylinder.I will NEVER go there again.

I loved the buying experience from Porter. The sales staff was friendly and helpful to get me into the car I wanted for the right price. However, when my car started to have problems (around 900 miles!!!) the service staff is unwilling to help and to fix the problem correctly, or even at all for that matter. I do not recommend this dealership!

I went into the Porter Hyundai dealership and asked for a price on a Hyundai Accent. I drove the car I wanted and was quoted a price. I drove it home and talked to my wife about it. We agreed to buy it. I went back and was told that the price was on another cheaper car and I would have to pay more for this car. I walked out and will never go back there agin. I went to another reputable dealer and bought the same car from them. They lost a sale and any future business. Beware of this dealership.

Today was no different.
At the Porter Chevrolet office, I had a salesman walk away from us - he was upset that I would not give him our phone number. I simply wanted a price, but he did not have any prices and it would take him some time to get them. In order to do that, he needed all my contact information. I simply said that all i really wanted was a price and I didn't think he needed my phone number to do that. He got up and walked away.
Ridiculous.
