Fenny did cut and color . Looked lovely and I was very pleased with the quality of service for the price i paid . I saved $60 compared to my previous salon, which was getting a little pricey. Color came out great. They got me in quickly and it is a nice place. Saturday afternoons can be busy with Bridal parties, but they seem to handle OK. Ask for 10% off as a first time client

I went to allure day spa on thursday and had a great experience there. The service was impeccable!!! Everything was scheduled perfectly and the staff are so attentive. I got a manicure,pedicure,massage, waxing and haircut and have not one complaint. I'm so happy that I found a great, friendly place in nyc and I will definately be back soon.

I visited Allure Day Spa last week because I had been looking for a new salon where I can get my waxing and facials done, after a falling out with my regular facialist...I found a coupon on their website for summer specials for a massage and facial so I decided to check it out...When I got there I was amazed at how nice the place was! The decor was done tastefully and elegantly...I was immediately greated by a nice, blonde lady at the front desk...I was curious about what other services the offered because I noticed there were hair stations, and manicure stations ...They pretty much do it all! ...Anyways, my massage and facial were awesome! I've never felt so pampered....I definitely want to go back and try some of their other services...

I have now had several haircuts at Allure and its my favorite place to go. Charming people, a great head massage/shampoo and fantastic haircuts. I would recommend this place to all my friends.

I had a full day spa this Saturday and it was a wonderful experience. I had the best facial with Ela. Now I know what a facial is!!!! I cant begin to tell you how everyone the attended me was so nice and pleasant. from my manicure to the lady that did my makeup. unfortunately I can't remember all their names. but thank you all you were all great. I will come back and refer this place to my friends.

This is for Ela who gave me a facial just after Christmas. She worked very hard on my rosacea and promised that I would see a huge difference. She was RIGHT my skin is looking quite good for my age and most of the redness is gone. I have been using the products I bought as directed.

I read about Allure on Citysearch! I am so glad that I got an appointment. I saw Alex for my color and also got free hair cut that was offered on line! My gorgeous colored hair has never looked so good and the perfect cut is what I got!! Now I know why people write reviews!

I walked into the spa and was greeted with a huge smile and very nice and accomodating receptionist. I went in for my massage and the facility was immaculate - my therapist was so good! I was very relaxed and had an amazing massage. I went in for 60 minutes and definitely got every minute's worth! My therapist really spent the time to work out all of my many knots and kinks. I would definitely recommend this spa to anyone who wants a massage that is worth the time and money. I would go back again in a heartbeat - by far, this is the best spa for a massage in all of Manhattan!!

I'm a girl who loves deep tissue massages! The stronger the better. Usually when I have massages only male therapists are able to break through my ridiculously tight back muscles. Well, I finally found a woman who is able to do just that! Crytal...you were awesome! I am so glad that I listened to my coworker who recomend Allure.Is truly the definition of this place! I say to all...just go and find out for yourself!

I recently had my bridal party at Allure and let me say that we had a wonderful wonderful time. The staff was so accommodating and the services were great. We were nine girls and we all had similar packages, which consisted of massages, facials and manicures, all were spectacular. The services began right on schedule, the therapists were great. My friend is getting married soon and we are definitely having her bridal party here as well.

my coworker recommended to go to this spa to get massage and facial by Ela. I took couple friends with me: We had facial by Ela and Marta which was very different from other places. They really focus on your skin and recommend products depending on your skin type. This facial and products i had is already working perfectly for me and my friends. They have their own line : cleanser and fruit toner is amazing! After facials we had 60 min massage with : Susan, Crystal and Nadia. All of us were very happy and relaxed after. After we finished our day with manicures by: Viorica, Marina and Margarita. They really take time to clean and massage hands. The manicure takes about 30 min which is amazing. Overall the service was amazing from the minute you walk into the spa the front desk girls are very welcomming to offer tea or coffee before you start your treatments. I highly recommend to go their and relax from busy new york lifestyle.

I came to Allure with 5 of my friends for a bithday party. What a great time we had!! The girls from the front desk Lana and Agnes helped us organize food and drinks and served it to everyone. We did not have to worry about anything but just to relax. The services were right on time and superb !!! Everyone was so professional and nice. Thank you! We are definitely coming back for another occasion!

This is a nice, local place, easy to make an appointment last moment. Staff is friendly and helpful. I've tried several different types of massages and different therapists , including couples massage with my boy friend, and have always had the best experience. I've referred a many people who have also returned. .

I attended a bachelorette party back in September, what as waste of money. We booked 30 minute messages, pepperment mani/pedi, champagne and chocolates, for $119 per person. Would have been a good deal if this place was not so tacky. I had to change in a closet, and sit in the entrance of the place in our robes, with everyone walking around. The champagne and chocolates, were the worst, talk about cheap. Lets just call it what it was, cheap, and I mean cheap champagne, and herseys chocolates, my lord, how very tacky. When we went to get our mani/pedi's, there was not even enough space for the 5 of us. We had to take turns, what a waste of time. Staff was chatting in different languages, which is rude, and to eachother, which is even worse. The massages were good, even thought the rooms were very cold.

I would never attend or book a party at this place again. With the reviews we all read on here, and the location, we expected something special. It was nothing of the sort, unless you think cheap champagne, cheap chocolates, and a classless place is something special. If it sounds to go to be true, watch out, it probably is.

I have been a satisfied client of Allure Day Spa for quite some time now. I have noticed some changes over the past few months. The new front desk person is clearly not up to speed on customer service. She's extremely slow, and can't seem to multitask which is essential in that role. I had to get my own coat after waiting 5 minutes while she chatted up one of the stylists. She also recommended the new facialist Luba after I tried to book an appt with Ela who was on vacation. She told me Luba was servicing all of Ela's clients. This person was the complete opposite of Ela. I told her I essentially wanted a deep clean with extractions. She steamed for 1 minute and started applying masks. I had to continually remind her I was there for extractions. Finally, I pointed out a few whiteheads and she attempted to clean but with the pores closed due lack of steam I went home with scabbed areas and clogged pores. I did not realize how bad it was until the next day. I just book ed appt another facial (at another spa) to have my pores cleaned. This was a total waste of money. I can apply masks at home. Why pay over $150.00 for this? I think the facialist is more familiar with much older skin that does not require deep cleaning (she said she has 30 years of experience). Overall, surprisingly disappointing.

I live in the neighborhood and have gone to several salons here. This place is, hands down, the best. First, when I call to make an appointment, the receptionist was friendly and eager to help match me with the best stylist . When I arrive'd, I was greeted by smiles, great decor, and a complimentary refreshment. The stylist ,Alexandra listened to what I want, and offered helpful suggestions.. I got the most beautifull highlights and free hair cut,that was offered on their website. Great prices, great service, great atmosphere.

we booked the Girlfriend's Spa Package for a bachelorette party afternoon. it was $119/person, came with a 30 min massage, peppermint pedicure and manicure, champagne and chocolates. seemed like a good deal. alas, it wasn't so spa-like after all. rather than having a large area with changing room and lockers, bathrooms and showers, they have one small dressing closet for guests to take turns changing in and out of their robes in (your clothes are taken to an unlocked closet at the main entrance). instead of a quiet spa-like room in back for people to hang out in while waiting for their services, we had to sit around in the lobby area in our robes, drinking the sparkling wine and eating the hershey's chocolates that were provided (they have bowls of candy everywhere). apparently we laughed too loudly at one point and the staff shushed us. once we got to the back area for our services, we realized there were not enough real chairs for manicures and pedicures for all 5 of us, so we took turns having them done. i'd also bring your own nail polish if you like anything unusual, the selection is pretty slim. the massages were the highlight and everyone enjoyed them. but they took ages to give us our bills. seemed like a busy, popular place and their basic services are decent, but i'd never again confuse it with an actual spa.

Me and my friends had a bachlorette party at Allure last Saturday and it was wonderful. The experience was relaxing and fun. My girlfriends and I all gathered for some well deserved massages and the best manicures and pedicures, all while we sipped on champagne and had chocolates! it was defiantley a great start to our weekend!

I went to Allure last week and got a body scrub by Kelly and it was so good. That was my first time getting one and I loved it. I think I will be in there at least once a month and my friend got a facial there and she said she was in heaven.

I went here 1 time...I got a facial and loved the place. It's very peaceful (good music) and the staff was cordial. The facial was actually very refreshing, I have had bad experiences in the past and this one went well. I just had my service last week, but will make sure to return to Allure in the future.

I had no idea what to expect when I made my appointment. I had looked into some other spa's on the internet but all of them seemed a little to costly and commercial. When I walked in to the spa it was intimate and personal. The atmosphere from the steirs down was relaxing and inviting. The service that I received was very good. The women were very polite, personable, kind, and made sure that I was comfortable. I would go there again and would recommend it for anyone who wants quality service for a reasonable price.

We had a bachelorette spa day for 8 girls here on Saturday. Lana and the staff were great at scheduling things so that we all spent as much time as possible in the same room -- they advised us where to order great food to be delivered, and then set it all up for us. They even provided the glasses for the champagne, and moved all of the food to whatever room we were in. They were sweet, accomodating, helpful and all around wonderful. Highly recommended!

That was my first time visited Allure Day Spa for a Body Massage. Let me just say, I'm impressed. I was first greeted by a welcoming staff of receptionists. In the process of waiting for my session to start. Friendly staff served me herbal tea & cookies. The massage itself was amazing. The therapist was incredible caring and seemed to know exactly what I needed. I came in nervous and stressed because of work and yet, I left feeling refreshed and relaxed. I highly recommend anyone to this spa. You won't regret it.

I went to Allure Day Spa last month with a co-worker who has been going to the spa for a couple of years now.I loved everything about the spa it was very cozy, quiet and the people who worked there were very nice. They really make you feel relaxed and always at your service. i went home feeling great it was one of the best massages and facials i've had. i recommend Allure Day Spa to anyone who wants the best spa treatment new york has to offer.

I WENT TO ALLURE FOR THE FIRST IME TO HAVE MY HAIR COLORED AND A MANICURE. I HAVE TO TELL YOU THAT THE PLACE IS SO SERENE AND CALM. MY TECHNICIANS WERE BOTH GOOD AT THEIR CRAFT AND WERE MOST ACCOMODATING. COULDNT HAVE BEEN BETTER. THE SERVICE IS PAR EXCELLANCE. HIGHLY RECOMENDED

I was recommend to go to this place by a friend. Apparently the girl who cut my hair was new. Her name was Lena. I have difficult hair to work with but she did a great job. She really spent some time with me before starting and kinda took some time to feel out my style and then really concentrated on delivering a great end result. Most hair stylists just talk and talk and don't concentrate on what they are doing. Lena was nice , professonal and really thought about the best style for me from the begining of the haircut to the end. I will definitely go back to her. Thank you.

I had a brazilian bikini wax done by Katie and it was one of the most uneasy experiences ever. She had my legs positioned in the most uncomfortable way possible and by the end of the session I still had residual wax everywhere and everything was sticking to me. She didn't wear gloves and I am not even sure her hands were clean. Not only was it uncomfortable but extremely painful. When I got my bill for the waxing it was $20 more than I had expected. I also had a French manicure done by Daisy who was good at handing out compliments about her clients but did a extremely poor job on my manicure.

A year and a half ago I happened upon this spa as I work in midtown. I love the services!

Pedicures with Danella are wonderful, facials with Ela and Marta are thorough and very relaxing, and my weekly blowouts with Alex are terrific and Myra gives a nice scalp massage when shampooing. Agnes at the front desk is very sweet and accommodating with scheduling and Lana makes sure you are totally satisfied with your services.

They are open on Sundays which is my favorite day for scheduling. The prices are very competitive with other midtown spas. I am very satisfied with this day spa.

Travelling to NYC for business, I was in dire need of a haircut. After researching and reading everyone?s comments, I decided on Allure. Best choice that I made. The customer service was great. They took my coat, offered me a beverage/magazine, made sure I was taken care of. They cared, and genuinely cared, not like other salons that will treat you like another tally on their overall tally board. I had a haircut/color with Alex. I wasn?t planning on color at first, but decided to take the risk. Well, the risk paid off. My cut was the best cut I?ve ever had and the color complemented my complexion (which is hard to do, since my skin tone is very uneven). She didn?t ignore my suggestions, which other hairstylists have done in the past. Since my cut, I have been receiving complements left and right, in addition to questions on where they can find this place. It?s unfortunate that they?re all the way in NYC. I'd definitely go there again, when I get the chance!!!

I have been going to Ella for few years. No matter who I go to in-beetween,I always come back to Ella to fix the mess others have done.I preffer more deep cleaning then pampering and she always makes the experience very personal. The Spa is beautiful,not large and very relaxing as soon as you walk in the doors. They also have products that I love, it keeps my skin very clean and beautifull .

I live in the UK and got married in NY recently - i used city search to find a suitable hairdresser to put my hair up for my wedding day and i was not dissappointed. Upon arriving at the salon, i was greated warmly, like i was a long standing customer. The lady who put my hair up, was very friendly and professional and explained thoughout the lengthy process what she was attempting to achieve with my hair. The atmosphere in the salon is very calming and i would highly recommend this to anyone, esp if slightly afraid of trying something new. Thank you Allure for making me look so good on my special day!

I came into Allure Day spa for spa week on Oct 20 for a haircut, I believe with
Alexandra, though I am unsure exactly. This was the best haircut I have ever
had in my life. I am so pleased and will definitely be returning and have told
my friends and family about it.

The staff is so courteous - took my coat, brought me a magazine, offered me a
drink a few times AND I got a wonderful shampoo - really massaged my scalp. I
have gotten so many compliments on my hair and just wanted to send a note of
appreciation.

I have been to Allure Day spa for a couples massage and enjoyed that too.

I wanted a new look for my 33rd birthday and I got exactly what I asked for. Everyone at Allure is very friendly, approachable and professional. Joe knew exactly what color went with my skin tone and gave me the hair cut to match. I have never received so many compliments. I will definately go back and recommend it to everyone.

It was my first time at Allure Day Spa,and I was very pleased with everything. My facial was wonderful. My esthetician Gabriela was professional and polite. She recomended some products for me to use at home and I'm very pleased with it and also the fact that I can order them on line makes my life easeir.
They have very nice facility and their prices seem competitive. Congratulation on your 10th aniversary. Next time I'll also try their hair salon services, they seems very profecional.

I had a massage on a Friday evening and was pleased overall. The only major issue really is that it is NOT the most relaxing atmosphere. I could hear a ton of noise and the people in the next room clear as day. That may or may not be an issue for some people...I'm not sure if I'll be back based on that alone. I may have just gone at an extremely busy time. The massage was good, though - I had Vincent and he was good. I wish he'd asked me what I wanted to focus on first but overall I can't complain!

It was my first time at Allure and I was very pleased with everything. My Facial was wonderful,I also had the best pedicure ever, but my massage was the gratest. After a deep tissue massage with Ola, I'm not only relaxed, but I also engoy long period of being pain free.

This past Saturday we had a bachlorette party for my best friend at allure. Considering that I did not know what to do, Lana and the other girls at the desk took over. They booked us for facials, massages, manicures and pedicures. We bought lunch and even ordered champagne. The girls at the desk did it all, everything was served and appointments for services went like clockwork. From the brides' fabulous facial with Ela to the massages with the hunky Vincent and the wonderfully talented Ola. Not to forget about the manicures and pedicures that took our breathes away. They did it all, from the food to the spa services, it was all done to PERFECTION! Our day of beauty before our night on the town was the very best. Thanks to the staff at Allure, my best friends bachlorette partys day of beauty was something we will all cherish for a lifetime.

My best friend found Allure for my bachlorette party. We had the Best Time and the Best services. From massages to manicures and make-up everithing was perfect and on time. Me and a girlfriend desided to have a day of beauty on this past hot and sticky Saturday afternoon. We had everything done, from color and haircut to manicures and pedicures, our package even included lunch (great food and wine!). Everything was so wonderful,the receptionists (warm and friendly), massage therapist, hairdressers (color and cut exceptional), and manicurist, even the shampoo girls (scalp massage, unbelieveable!) were,professional,warm,friendly and fun. What a wonderful way to spend a hot and sticky afternoon! We left looking great and feeling even better!! definitely, an AFTERNOON DELIGHT! We can't wait to go back!!

I was passing 55th street looking for the place to get relaxing pedicure and manicure. I found Allure Day Spa which I was very pleased. It is a very nice place to get away from loud New York's buzz. I had a delicious cup of tea with cookies during my reflexology pedicure. The pedicure was very relaxing and I was glad that it takes more than an hour to enjoy it. Everything was very welcomming from the moment I opened Allure door.

Me and a friend took full advantage of spa week. We had full services and they were amazing! As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a warm and welcoming smile, taken to a changing room and began our day. The receptionists were bending over backwards to make us feel welcomed. We had massages by Vincent (after reading previous reviews we had to try him) ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! We then had facials, manicures and pedicures and finished with hair cuts, all of which were great. The whole staff was warm and friendly, even though they were very busy, we never felt ignored or forgotten. When leaving the blonde at the desk was just very attentive, and as concerned with our experience as she was with making us comfortable when we arrived. The whole experience on a scale of 1-10 was a 12!! We will be going back, for sure!!

I went here for a massage during spa week and was VERY DISSAPOINTED!! First, I was not even given a robe (as in all other spas), the girl brought me to the room, told me to get naked and lie on the table. Then halfway through the massage, I realize that there is no wall dividing my room and the next room. It is only a divider dividing us and I had to listen the girl who was next to me go on and on....She would not stop talking and it was like we were in the same room - I could hear her so clearly!! VERY disturbing, I would like it to be quiet and relaxing when I get a massage!! I could not even enjoy my massage! When I went to complain about it after the massage, they did not seem to care!! I WON'T be going back!
