This is a pretty negative review, so let me start by saying that I do like the tanning beds.
There was a lot of hype about VIP when it first went in. I went in and got a massage soon after it opened. The massage therapist was straight out of school and not very gifted. I don't remember the price, but it was pretty high.
For some reason, this seems to be a pretty popular salon. I had to go there to get my hair in an up do for a wedding last summer. I asked for one style out of their style book and was refused. After that, my one request was that she comb it back from my forehead rather than parting it, as my roots were starting to come in and also I didn't want my bangs in my face. I 'm sure I was clear about it.
Not only did she part my hair and shellac it to my head, she pulled my (shortish) bangs down over my forehead and CURLED them, making me look like 1986.
I know I wasn't the bride, but with what I had to pay (about $75 if I remember correctly) it was ridiculous to come out with exactly what I said I didn't want. I tried to gently correct the whole time I was in the chair, but I got the impression that it was the only up do she knew how to do.
My $40 manicure was also chipped off within a few hours.
