Well one thing I have to mention is delivery. They only have the car on Sundays?. I hadn??t ordered in a while so me and my sister decided to order delivery for Sunday. After I placed my order they informed me there was a $5 delivery fee?.since when I asked? English is not their first language. After a few minutes of our conversation going nowhere. I ended up cancelling my order. The prices were decent but I noticed my bill gets more expensive every time I order and the menu states something different. Then they try to sneak in another $5 from me. I love the food but when theres a hassle for me to get it I won??t even bother. I ended up ordering Sadees Thai?not as good. This place just really needs better service. There have been other times when I have ordered and they have been nothing but wonderful!

Pros: Love the food

Cons: Crappy service sometimes

I was itching to write a competent review of this place as there aren't that many Thai places in Forest Hills. Unfortunately, my wife and I never actually got served so it makes this task a bit hard. Let me explain for the interested reader:

My wife and I arrive around 6:45pm on a Friday for some good Thai food. The place is small, cozy looking, but professional. There are 2 other couples already seated seemingly having a good Thai time so we figured it would be ok. We are promptly seated and order our appetizers and meal in about 5 minutes. That's where time began to slow down.

We got our drinks ok, hummed along to the Michael Jackson's Greatest Hits CD that played throughout our stay, and took in the news on the TV. A few other couples walked in and the place seemed to be picking up steam. Cool, we thought, seems like a popular little place. 25 minutes in, we start noticing that some of the people who came in after us have gotten their appetizers. Strange we thought, so we notified our waitress, your food is coming right out, she told us. 35 minutes in, main courses are hitting the tables, everyone's except ours of course. Again, we are informed that our food is coming sometime this century. 50 minutes in, a cop walks in and orders a meal to eat, in less than 5 minutes he is served his meal. That would be the last straw for us. We got up paid the bill for our 2 drinks and summarily left after waiting for close to an hour for any type of food.

Like i said, i would like to review this place but since we weren't actually served, it makes that task nigh impossible. Unfortunately for them as well, i have to sit down and write a concise review for Zagat (my employer), as much as i don't want to put this new establishment in a bad light, i will have to. It goes to show you the importance of every customer who walks in, you never know who is there to eat, and who is there to do a job. Maybe next time it will fare better for the next reviewer to walk in.
