Vercellis Restaurant

Excellent food--terrible music.
Would double their business if they created more ambiance with Mediterranean/Italian music like "Alicante" in Mendon. People are drawn to nice music + good food. How about some Andrea Boccelli a la "89 Main" in Milford?

My parents moved to Franklin a couple of years ago and they keep finding me new places to enjoy.

They've gone to Vercelli's about 6 times over the past month. I had my first dinner there on Saturday. It was excellent.

The waitstaff is all very friendly, attentive and well trained. I would have preferred another frosted glass with my 2nd Moretti but I guess I could have just asked.

The food was all quite delicious. The salads were good as were the bread and dipping oil. For dinner I had the penne alla vodka - which was very tasty and the chicken was tender. I also tried the meatballs from Dad's meal and they were very good. The wife had a seafood dish and enjoyed it. The scallops were sweet and cooked perfect.

From the outside it looks like a barn but inside is a nice little dining room. It was a bit on the loud side but it was Saturday night. Can't wait to go back and try my other italian fav of chicken parm!

I think Vercellis is great! The staff is very good, the food is GREAT! It's a great place to bring older young children to introduce them to a restaurant that is a more little upscale than let's say Outback Steak House, and it won't break the bank.

My wife and I eat out offen and I must say that this little known restaurant is a real treat. I considered not writing this review because I wanted to keeping this place "My Secrete". However that is not really fair so here goes:
The place is very comfortable and relaxed and the food is excellent and the portions will allow for another meal the day after.
The service is friendly and very professional and the cost is a real Value.
The eggplant Rollotini appetizer is to die for and the linguine and white clam sauce is my favorite.The desserts are incredible, like Tiramisu and Cappuccino! And the wine selection and the martinis are wonderful!
Please, do not forget the Tiramisu and Cappuccino!

My husband and I went to Vercelli's the other night for the first time for our anniversary. We were pleasantly greeted by the maitre'd and promptly seated. The atmosphere was warm and friendly and the food was outstanding! We would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for large food portions, finely crafted martinis and great, affordable prices

My husband and I recently moved to the area and were looking for good local food and a co-worker recommended Vercelli's.
We stood at the Hostess desk for 5min waiting to be greeted or seated. (there were several open tables)
Once we were seated we waited close to 15min before our waiter took our drink order. He said they were busy.
From our seat we thought maybe disorganized, but not busy. If our waiter was truly busy then someone else on staff should have stepped up and helped out.
We were very happy with our food.
We would consider going back some day and giving them a chance to improve on service.

THEY HAD AN EXCELLENT PRICED FAMILY SIZED TOMATO AND CHEESE PIZZA WITH SIXTEEN SLICES COOKED ANY WAY YOU LIKE IN FIFTEEN MINUTES. PLACE WAS SOLD AND PIZZA JUST WASN'T THE SAME. SHOULD REOPEN SOON UNDER A NEW NAME.
