Pinos Italian Restaurant & Bar

We went to Pino's wit high expectations. First off, our waiter hardly spoke English and we could not understand any of the specials for the evening. So we, went with menu options. Totally disappointed. Fish salad was decent, but not anything extraordinary, I had to salt it up and add a bit of olive oil. Mozzarella specialty - too salty. Entrees: Mala Femina seafood linguini. Totally tasteless - when I told the waiter he just smiled; so I asked for some hot pepper and tried to spice it up myself. My husband's scallops and risotto was ok, nothing to write home about. The ricotta cheesecake was pretty good but the key lime mousse must have been sitting there for about it month, it tasted like wax. Thank goodness we were dining on a gift certificate, because I would not have been happy to spend $114 on that meal. I personally would not go back.

Overall, Pino's is great. Although the food can be a bit pricy, it is delicious. Sometimes they have live music which can create a romantic atmosphere. They're pizza section is adorable as well... and they have plenty of great desserts to choose from!

This restaurant certainly isn't bad, it's just not what you expect when you see the place. From the outside it looks like a building in Italy and there's valet parking. However the food isn't anything out of the ordinary and the atmosphere inside is very family oriented, in other words, expect screaming kids. While the entrees aren't much to rave about the brick oven pizza on the other hand is amazing!
