Tierno's Pizzeria

I don,t think the pizza was anything better than the lousy bar pizza across the street from them, and it took over an hour to deliver and that was upsetting being that I was less than 1/8 mile away from them. thumbs down

The foundation of the operation has moved. Actually it is a new business venture all together with new owneship. The new name is "Tierno's Family Pizzeria". The new address is 3845 Old Wm. Penn Hwy. in Murrysville. and the new phone number is 724-519-7300. The recipes that you knew have been altered and are better than ever!!! We are now serving breakfast pizza as well as a great cup of coffee (coffee bar to come). We also have slices available for lunch. We hope to se you soon!!!

I visitied this pizzeria for the first time on the same weekend they won the Best Pizza in Pittsburgh 2008. I tried two different pizza's and I loved both of them- Barbecue Chicken with an irresistable base sauce and the Buffalo Chicken had just the right amount of spicy kick with the chunky buffalo basted chicken on the top. The staff was easy going and enjoyable. Good stuff - I would definately recommend this place to anyone visiting the Pittsburgh area!

The pizza was excellent, especially for the such a good price and the service was fantastic. The place was not corwded at all and the employees were very enjoyable to talk to.

Pros: Outstanding pizza for a great price, and high quality service.
