Walked in sat down ordered a drink. Waited 20 minutes for my drink to arrive and then left as I was thirsty and tired of waiting.

Please dont judge a book by its cover. Limoncello is the worst restaurant I've ever been to! I ordered the penne vodka that come with presutto, but they serve it with honey baked ham! Its was like ordering a filet and getting a skirt steak. When I asked the waiter why there was ham in my meal they told me they always put ham in it. I sent the meal back and they re-cooked it with presutto. I asked to speak to a manager and was told that there was no manager or owner in the place. The waiter acting as manager came over and tried to explain to me that penne vodka is always cooked with ham. Are you kidding me?!! Ham does not belong in an Italian kitchen. He then tried to tell me that everyone loves this dish with ham. When I asked him who he said Americans. He told me that all Americans love ham in there penne vodka and thats why they do it. Not only did they try to save money on the cost of presutto but they insulted my intelligence! Most disrespectful dining experience ever.

Now for the worst part. I sent the meal back and they recooked it. I hate doing this cause I always think they mess with the food. Well this time it was true. Not only did they mess with the food but they did it when we had 3 kids at the table. A 6, 4 and 2 year old. My poor 4 year old nephew ate some of my meal and threw up the whole car ride home. Not only did he feel like crap but an hour later I started throwing up and it lasted all night into the morning. How could you mess with someones food because you tried to pull one over on them?

In conclusion I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!!!!!!!!!
DONT EVER WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TRY THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
JON CARLO IS THE OWNER AND I WAS TOLD THAT HE MAKES PEOPLE DO THIS!!!!!!!!!
YOU DONT DESERVE PEOPLE PAYING MONEY FOR A GOOD TIME!!!!!!!!!
I WONT STOP TILL YOU RESTAURANT SHUTS DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Service was great, aside from one person that i am chalking up to them possibly having a bad day. The food was great and the drinks better. I will be going again for sure.

We tried the new location this summer during track season. Loved the outdoor patio and music but we chose to eat in the air conditioning. Attentive, friendly service from our waiter. Enjoyed my salad with steak on top. We alos tried the limoncello drink of course! Good location away from the downtown parking problems - and not far form the track.

The best word to describe this place is WONDERFUL. We went with a group of six and everyone tried a different dish on their delightful menu. The consensus was for ordering the next time around was just close your eyes and point your finger at the menu and something delicious would come out. Can't say anything better about this very authentic and warm Italian restaurant.

I was very impressed from the time I first stepped into Limoncello, the atmosphere is relaxing and very tasteful. I love the outside dining, the design is great the tall bushes transport you from a busy saratoga street to a relaxing and enjoyable outside patio. While I admit I have only eaten there once, I thoroughly enjoyed the calamari appitizer I ordered and found all of their staff to be warm and welcoming. I have suggested to several associates to give this restaurant a try and the responses have been warm and complimentary.

Why are people giving Nancy and Giancarlo chance after chance to open a restaurant? They will not be successful in any of their food service related endeavors. In the past few years, this couple have tried to open three other restaurants and three restaurants named, Limoncello. When will these people learn that they need to make their employees and customers their first priority? I have been witnessed to the following:
- Verbal abuse to their employees
-Physically abusive to their patrons( Giancarlo physically lifted a paying customer out of the restaurant and threw him out the door).
-Refilling premium price vodka with well vodka.
-Threatening employees' current job status by forcing them to work overtime without adequate compensation ( meaning paid for those extra hours)
-Giancarlo and Nancy considered their emplyees to be personal waitstaff and therefore forced employees to negelect other patrons. The couple kindly referred to Limoncello Restaurante as their "KINGDOM".
-The health inspector would have a field day; the chef's daily peeled and stored potatoes over open garbage.
-Hopefully, you do not have an allergy to shelfish, because most of their food is prepared beforehand(don't ask me why you have to wait so long to get your food...its a mystery!) because they just pick it out with their fingers...gloves not included!

This restaurant was well reviewed in town but closed during the 2007 fall season. The space is now being revised for a new restaurant. Suggest to go to Wheatfields if you are looking for a similar style restaurant.
