I have had the serviceman out 4 times to fix my refridgerator as the line to the water dispenser and ice maker have frozen. He performed a modification from the maufacturer. it broke...he came back...it froze up...i waited a month...defrosted the fridge to clear the line...it is leaking on my hardwood floors (this is a large built in refridgerator and the water shutoff is behind it so I can't turn the water off)...The receptionist tells me they can't come out for 8 or 9 days because they are booked. $1,000 dollars later, still broke, water leaking, floors and cabinates damaged and I get a sorry for your luck.

I know it is hard to find someone in the DC Metro area that isn't looking to over charge you for minimal work...but these guys breat stuff and charge you to fix it...when they can get arround to it.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Horrible service, or lack thereof. Rude receptionists all the way up to rude management. Would avoid at all costs. A huge waste of time (and lots of it) and money. Service should not be part of their company name, unless of course, it is prefaced by the word BAD,

By the looks of the other yelp reviewers, we all share the same sentiments. I have never ever written a review before today. I was so appalled that I actually registered for yelp for this very complaint.

My refrigerator was not cooling. The technician came out and advised it was under a recall. (I was never notified by the company that made it). He changed the part and didn't charge a thing..and it is fixed! I thought I'd have to for sure pay for the viist but he said the company that made the refrigerator would! How exciting! I'm going to go shopping now with the extra money. I will go back when I need them again.

I just had to say what a wonderful experience I have had with this Company over the 21 Years they have been in Business, They have some of the best Technicians in Northern Va, I am sad that they no longer do Sales but I am so happy that they still do service. They are a Family owned Business and are respectful in every sense of the word!! I would recommend them time and time again!! You will not be sorry you did:0)

TERRIBLE - DO NOT USE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. Repair man was useless - charged $90 - did not fix the problem, actually made it worse.

I wrote a letter - complaining - they never responded.

I will NEVER use this company again! When the technician completed replacing 2 water hoses, he said he cannot move the washing machine into its original position without help from a second man. My husband offered to help. The technician said that my husband could not help because Betty's insurance does not allow a homeowner to move his own washing machine! Instead, I was told I had to pay an additional $60 for a second man to come to assist. I called Betty's to say that it is unreasonable to pay $60 for work my husband is able & waiting to do. Betty's said "You WILL pay the full amount, or the techician will remove the new water hoses, and you can replace the washing machine by yourself." After the second man arrived, I paid a total of $234.42 to replace 2 water hoses.

Do not use this company! They came out and said my dryer needed two parts. They ordered the parts, the first part arrived immediately and the second took over two weeks. They called to schedule the repair which was a five hour window. They called to confirm the appointment but then the day of the appointment the repairman called and said the second part had either not been ordered or was lost. He said either way he did not have the part in his truck and he was not driving back to Springfield to get it. I called the office to see what happened and ask if they would compensate me for the inconvenience with a reduced service fee. Betty's daughter rudely stated, "We are not compensating you for anything. In the real world mistakes happen and you just deal with them. You can find another repair company to do your repair, we are cancelling your parts."
