Worst experience ever. Good sales up front with TIM who repedetly said if you find a better deal with another store just cancel with us no problem. Well when we found a better deal at Raymour we called TIM and he gave us a hard time saying we were liars and he had inside info at Raymour bla bla being extremely rude and told us we had to come back to the store to cancel our order which was very inconvenient. When we came in, TIM basically was harassing us saying we could have got the same deal at Metro and then contradicting himself saying that we couldnt have gotten all the free extras that we did get at Raymour and on and on. SO RUDE, DO NOT DEAL WITH TIM!! WILL NEVER GO BACK!!

Terrible would not back their product. I bought a twin Seally mattress for my son who is not overweight if anything underweight it has a big indentation they would not honor their warranty stating I didn't buy the box spring they never told me that when I bought it!!! He has a perfectly good foundation. The tag on it states this mattress can be used with or without a foundation. I contacted BBB metro mattress would not respond to them.

Metro Mattress is the biggest rip-off. They do not hold up to the advertising and when you receive their garbage mattress they penalize you and do not allow you to have the sale price, because they have their "policies". What is very sad and that there are so many Ft. Drum families in that area that get taken for a ride in their sales pitch and their no-win situation for any of their buyers. DO NOT BUY from Metro. I recently purchased an additional two mattress from a reputable dealer and the difference in quality and service is day and night. Do Not buy from them.

Metro Mattress is the biggest rip-off. I have just had an eye opening experience with Metro Mattress. My parents purchased a mattress for $1500. It was delivered today. I called Metro Mattress, interested in the same mattress and also a box spring set. The salesperson I spoke with over the phone gave me a quote of $1700 for the set but then told me "the best I can do today is $1340." THIS IS $160 dollars LESS than my parents paid for just a mattress the night before! I double checked with the salesman to make sure it was the same style and was assured that it was. I took down the price and his name, thanked the salesperson and hung up the phone. Less than 15 minutes later, I received a call from the same person I spoke with at Metro Mattress now offering me the set for $1230!!! The set was now $270 less than my parents paid the night before for JUST the mattress! What a deal for me but I felt sorry for my parents who paid so much more for only a mattress at the same store less than 24 hours before.When I spoke with my mother about the prices that I was quoted over the phone, you can imagine that she was upset. She called the store hoping to be given the same deal. She spoke with the same salesperson I did, who turns out to be the manager. Surprise, surprise! My mother was told that I was quoted the wrong price. He had given me a quote on a set that was discontinued but was called the same name as the current mattress that my parents had purchased.When I called back, I was told the same thing. I was given the wrong quote. Even though during the first phone conversation I had asked that he double check that it was indeed the same mattress, he had made a mistake. But then, not only had he quoted me incorrectly the first time but he also had made another mistake with the price when he called me back and offered me an even lower price! He apologized but said it was a "human mistake." Well humans, don't make a HUGE MISTAKE by shopping at Metro Mattress! Things just don't seem to add up there...

I have never in my life been so upset over a transaction than I had in that store. I have finally calmed down enough to sit and write about it.

On Feb ??, 2007 My husband and I purchased a mattress in that store. Spinal cord injuries have made me 75% disabled and my husband is 100 % disabled. We have a limited budget, so we were in the market for a mattress that we could afford and one that would improve our sleep . We had explained this to your salesman and he informed us that we could return the mattress before the 14 day trial period was up and so we bought the mattress cover for that reason. He was so sincere and convincing about the fact that he understood our dilemma and cared about us being satisfied that we agreed to the terms and unfortunately did not read the fine print. Never once did he mention all the little glitches in the return process if the mattress did not work for us. Due to our disabilities we are more uncomfortable now than we were with our mattress we had for 10 years. All we needed was to exchange that mattress for one that was a step softer than the one we purchased. We were then informed it would cost us $1000.00 more than we originally spent. We are so disappointed that the metro mattress establishment can take advantage of people like us that I will should be informing the BBB. We have also discovered that they call there mattress Fremont park on the invoice so no one can look for the same simmons mattress at a lower price in another store that way they can crank up the price and not be undersold! Or you could get it for free, its a big scam. How can you advertises that no one can beat your price for the same mattress when no one else sells Fremont park mattresses. Of course they have the lowest price for that brand they renamed the Simmons mattress Fremont Park.

I have been deprived of sleeping with my own husband because we cannot sleep on the mattress you have stuck us with. I don??t understand how they can be so uncaring about the consumers who have given them the lifestyle they maintain. All I wanted was a good nights sleep and we got a never ending nightmare. In my opinion they should exchange my mattress for a softer more suitable one for us at the same price or if they were truly sorry for our trouble we should get it for free due to the terrible customer service we received and the lack of consideration that the company has for disabled individuals.
