The Best!
by Gary H.
Been eating there for more than 20 years. Best fried seafood and best fish chowder of anywhere I've been. The service is fast and the help is friendly.
Absolutely love the fresh shrimp! Plump, crispy and never greasy. They have a variety of shrimp - Maine, butterfly etc.

Terrible FOOD DONT EAT YOU WILL GET SICK
by John B.
I had the worst clams ever I was sick for a week I had to go to the hospital for food poisoning. We are taking them to court for the cooks not washing there hands. The Dr. said there were traces of pooh in the food and thats why me and my family were sick. Please dont go there hoefully we are able to shut them down when we sue them.

WE LOVE LARRY"S
by Megan W.
I'm from Maryland and my parents live in N.H. I visit every summer and one of our favorite traditions is going to Larry's for their fried clams. They're absolutely delicious. Covered with a light crispy batter that helps the naturally sweet nuttiness of the clams come through. The portions are more than generous and we always end up getting one platter for every two people. The fries and onion rings are equally delicious. Then there's the service which is comparable to the wonderful food, fast and courteous with just a smidgen of that New England attitude I've come to treasure. I'd recommend this place to everyone!

Larry's Clam Bar
by Anonymous
We went to Larry's last night (Aug. 17, 2007) for the first time in years and we were both so disappointed. My husband got the scallop basket and there were about15 half scallops (they cut them in half) sitting in grease, and french fries. Not a lot for almost $12. A little roll was included, no butter, and it would have been great if they served cole slaw. I got fish and chips for $7.50 and there was one piece of fish which was not cooked....and just french fries. Very greasy and disappointing. For a seafood restaurant the quantity should have been much more and the quality should have been top notch. We will not go back.

Sounds like an oxymoron but on a whim our family decided to stop in and try this place. It would be our fifth New England seafood experience prior to moving to this area years ago.
I had the fried clams. They were light and crispy with a delicate flavor. You can tell that they do not intermix their oils with say onion rings or other items that can taint the flavor of the clams. I just wish they gave you more. However for the price the platter that I ordered was quite large; lots of fries and onion rings (which were very good).
They also have an ice-cream area just in case you want to round out your seafood feast.
I would certainly go back there again.
