Angels View Wedding Chapel

On July 27th, 2009 I called Angel's View Wedding Chapel to find out more information about the chapel, and if they were available that weekend because my husband and I decided we wanted to have a wedding in the mountains and we are impatient. Our wedding was August 1st, 2009. Everyone was so nice and helpful! Their southern hospitality made our wedding day perfect! I called them because the beautiful pictures on their website caught my eye, and they delivered! We love our wedding pictures, and so does everyone else. The beautiful view of the mountains and gorgeous chapel made me feel like a princess in a fairy tale!

Randy and I decided to use AVWC based on their great photos online and their customer service from far away. We received a lot of calls and help. We are located in Montana and Las Vegas, and got together in Tennessee for our wedding. Once we were there, it was even better than expected. Special accomodations were made since we were from out of town and both military members. We contacted other chapels, but this was our first choice. And their prices were very reasonable, especially for the wonderful ambience.

We went to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg before our wedding searching for the perfect chapel. When we walked into Angel's View Wedding Chapel it was breathtaking. The chapel was beautifully decorated and the view was great.The minister was so sincere and made our ceremony feel very special. All of our family and friends commented on what a beautiful ceremony it was. Thanks to all the staff, everything went so smooth. I would definitely recommend Angel's View Wedding Chapel.

My husband and I were married at Angel's View Wedding Chapel on 8-15-09. We found the site online and were pleasantly surprised when we visited it. It is amazing. The view is beautiful, the cabins are indescribable, the chapel is beautiful and decorated, and the reception hall is beautifully decorated too. I would recommend waiting on reserving the cabins because the prices reduce the longer you wait. You will be pleasantly surprised by how nice the cabins are. My husband & I would rate them as A+! The chapel has beautiful decorations already set-up. The minister is a very nice man. I would recommend scheduling a "free" rehearsal with them to do a trial run. I used the music they provided for the ceremony and it was very nice. The timing of everything was great. The heat was the only bad thing! This was a very hot day and pictures were a dread outside! The pictures were beautiful too. I was very impressed with how many pictures she took and how many of them looked great. The photographer was very nice to help with bustling my dress too. Everyone works hard to make everything go smoothly. It can be hectic on the workers with how many weddings they have each day. They had 8 weddings on the day I got married. I was not aware of this. I would check to see how many they have. The reception was wonderful too. I love how the decorations were. They will set-up everything for you. I had my family help too due to the short set-up time because of back to back weddings. The food was just ok. No complaints-but no wow either. The cake was beautiful. I picked a design from their website and used my colors. They did a great job on the cake. The one thing that was bad was the size of the hall. We had around 55 people and we could barely move. My husband and I had a hard time getting to our seat when we walked into the reception hall and everyone was seated. Many people had to get up and move their chair for us to pass by. I would check the layout of the tables prior to the reception. The movement was not a problem after eating when everyone got up to dance. We used a Quebbie for our music. I would recommend this to everyone. We used it at our rehearsal dinner and reception. It is like a modern day j. box. It is amazing! Everyone loved it. I believe that the prices were reasonable. We ordered the flowers on our own from town and they were amazing. You can save some money by doing things like that on your own. Overall, we had a wonderful wedding. Our day was just amazing! I hope everyone can experience such a day on their wedding!

My wife and I were married at Angels View yesterday (Sept. 18, 2009) and we could have never dreamed up or imagined a better wedding. We had several of our closest friends and family with us at our wedding and all of them commented on how they have never been to a more beautiful wedding than ours. The chapel staff was incredible leading up to and on the day of our wedding. We were very nervous about having to plan a wedding from out of state but Angel's View made everything so easy and made us feel at ease. We would HIGHLY recommend Angel's View Wedding Chapel to anyone thinking about getting married in TN. You could not ask for better scenery or a more beautiful chapel!! Thanks!!

Our evening wedding on 8/6/09 was absolutely perfect! We had about 40 people all from out of town and made it a 3 day event ending with our wedding. We rented 4 lodges from the resort and they were all beautiful. The ladies at the office of the resort were very helpful in making sure my guests were able to find their cabins. With so many people arriving at different times, this was a lifesaver. The resort and chapel are gorgeous as you can see from pictures on their website. Connie and her team handled everything and my day was 100% stress free. I basically had to just show up. The salon did mine and my two maids hair lovely.

The reception food was GREAT and my guest all loved the baked tomatoes..EXCELLENT. A few people said it was the best meal they had ever had at a wedding :o).
The reception hall was decorated lovely, the cake was wonderful (we had a tiered cake with two flavors), the dj was execellent and he allowed us to bring some of our own latin music and really kept the party going.

The service was excellent all around. Everyone was polite, on time and patient to my ever whim! The photos are wonderful and I am still trying to pick which ones I want. My advice, pay the extra for the handheld video. They edited it, added music and put it all together..my daughter says it looks like a movie. It perfectly captured the evening I have no complaints and couldn't even think of anything extra I would have wanted for our wedding day.

Our purchase from Angels View Wedding Chapel was the all inclusive service and photo package. The chapel was already beautifully decorated-and had the most beautiful scenery one could hope for in a wedding. We fell in love with the chapel and surroundings the first time we laid our eyes on it. We felt that the service was a good buy for the money. We highly recommended chapel to everyone we met. Just a tip to offer, allow enough time for pre-planning with the chapel.

We found Angel's View Wedding Chapel after many searches on the internet. Our initial email was responded to immediately and our bridal consultant was so determined to give us the most wonderful wedding experience!

The package we chose was for a simple family gathering, since there was only the two of us and five family members. The photographer was patient (we have three small children) and she took so many photos and poses that we got a wonderful array of wedding and family photos to choose from and the scenery is spectacular!

The minister was so sincere and made our small intimiate gathering so heartfelt and warm that we felt that we were the only two people in the world! They have many packages to choose from but you can also customize your wedding, so get what you want out of your special day, we did. My husband says we will renew our vows and we will definitely go the Angel's View!

We were so happy with the lovely wedding we had at Angels view Wedding Chapel on Aug. 6, 2009. It was stress free and the chapel was so beautiful. I loved having everything already decorated. The scenery was beautiful outside and the window's view inside was lovely. However, be aware that the sun does shine in that window at certain times of the day so it can wash out the pictures.

The minister conducted a lovely service and spoke so sincerely (even though he must have repeated the words hundreds of times by now). He seemed to realize that it needed to be meaningful, because our wedding day was the only day that mattered to us. He helped make it a special ceremony, and we appreciate that.

I loved having the Bridal March played to enter by, also. We also used silk flowers from their stock and that was great, because we just gave them back when it was over. The package price was reasonable and worth every penny.

We took a raw footage DVD with us that day, but could not play it in the player at the cabin we were renting so we took it back to Angels View and paid a little more to have them edit it. We received it about three weeks later and it was worth the wait! They had added still shots to it, increased the volume, sharpened the focus, added beautiful music to the still shot portion and turned out a beautiful product.

We showed it to our friends and family at a reception the other night and everyone was duly impressed with the beauty of everything and the nice job done on the photography.

This is an absolutely beautiful place to get married. My husband and I loved the scenery and the simplicity of the wedding planning. The staff was amazing and helped us feel at ease. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a memorable, stress-free wedding! The packages are definitely worth the cost...the cabins are spacious, well decorated, and accommodating!

I would like to recommend Angels View Wedding Chapel to anyone who is looking for a stressfree wedding. The location is beautiful and the staff is very helpful with all your questions and concerns. We were married on 8/18/09 and also stayed at the Honeymoon Suite 1 cabin on the evening of our wedding. It had the most spectacular view of the mountains, also the wedding chapel has a magnificent view. Thank you to all the staff of Angel's View Wedding Chapel for making my Wedding Day the most remarable day I will have.

My husband and I searched for the perfect wedding chapel in Pigeon Forge and we definitely found it!!!!! This chapel has the most beautiful view I have ever seen!!!!! The minister was great and made our ceremony feel very personal and special. The pictures were great (especially the ones outside). Everyone was so nice and helpful. The whole process was very easy and simple (just what we wanted)! I would reccomend this chapel to everyone!!!!!!! The price was great also. One of the cheapest in the area.

The preacher made the ceremony very special, he did a wonderful job. The cost was surprisingly inexpensive and well worth every penny. My grrom and I are very satisfied!!

My daughter just recently got married June 27,2009 at Angel's View Wedding Chapel after a year long planning. Wedding was beautiful along with 3 luxury cabin rentals (except one still being dirty from them forgetting to clean it but did clean promptly A++++). Mountain View..... ahhhhhhh! Connie, was helpful by e-mailing promptly with questions and answers. A few things to be aware of.......us too had problems with some photos. The photos taken at the altar inside the chapel of the wedding party and families were perfect if you like to see bodies only! The sun shining in the altar window washed out heads, faces and my daughters veil so they are pretty much useless. Being some of the most important photos taken we contacted them and they tried to alter photos but there really was nothing they could do. They did not try to compensate in anyway or even apologize. The other pictures did turn out great! Also, my daughter the bride had to ask photographer to take pictures of her and her bridesmaids and flower girls in front of carriage etc...which is normally routine and then lied to her boss Joyce saying that we insisted that she take certain pictures when we never asked for anything that wasn't gone over way before wedding and paid for. Father of bride had to remind photographer to take pictures of bride and groom leaving reception hall and car getaway that was already planned. Did not receive all the photos on CD copyrighted that we paid for-still waiting (500.00) included bouquet toss, garter removal etc.....one of the 3 CD's was blank. Angel's View Video is blurry and of very poor quality so don't waste your $$$$. Do recommend Video by Rebecca was super! We recommend spending a few extra $$$ for her to video tape handheld and slide show wedding. Also, before wedding the preacher who was so nice and personable stated to photographer that the battery in the microphone needed replacement due to him having trouble with it not working in a previous wedding (all workers do multiple task with weddings there). Photographer made him use it without changing battery and guess what? It did not record the first part of the wedding. My daughter is still very upset over this. Connie and other workers were unorganized in getting the show on the road. They showed up in the chapel 5 mins after wedding was to begin. I had to start getting the best man to seat the mothers and grandmothers and thought I was going to have to be the coordinator. They did not play any music that was provided for guest entering chapel until after everyone sat in complete silence for a while. I was really getting worried at that point. Finally, they showed up and eventually the wedding started. Preacher was early and ready. Photographer wears crop pants and tank top to take pictures which I heard several comments on the slack appearance for a wedding that was semi formal. The drinks that the guests were suppose to have in reception hall as they were waiting for bride and groom weren't there except for bartender. I, mother of bride, went in reception hall right before bride and groom and staff were dumping bottled soda that we supplied into ice buckets on floor. No tea or water ready that was in package. When ready no one drank it due to getting bottled soda and bartender drinks. No glasses on tables and no glass drink toasting of bride and groom. It was overlooked by staff. Staff acted like things were unimportant, acted as if burnt out and this was a chore for them. Staff helped customers that stopped by at the same time trying to prepare wedding which I think was part of the problem with things not being on time and things being forgotten. Customers have access to roam in chapel and reception hall even though time is reserved for a wedding and wedding party items, wedding party personal belongings are lying out freely open to the public. Food by catering company was great and on time for 5 pm buffet meal. Recommend chicken with mushrooms, fresh veggie medley, green beans, and red potatoes !!! Fruit display could of been dressed up-just thrown on plate-don't waste your money. Reception hall tables too close together to get people around without seated people having to get up out of their seats. Reception hall set up nice with help from family. Connie is super at recommending cloth color overlay and tying chair bows. D.J. from Sound Revue was great! For the total amount paid for the wedding my daughter could of had the same or better in own home town except for the nice mountain view of course. Over all, I think staff except preacher needed to REMEMBER that peoples weddings are very, very, important to them, and treat and act towards the customers as if it were their own wedding and make it one of the most important days of the bride and grooms lives!!!!!!!!

We were married at Angel's View Wedding Chapel on July 11, 2009. We could not have asked for a more beautiful wedding!! All of my questions were answered promptly before hand via e-mail and phone. The staff went above and beyond to make this a stress free and worry free experience. The pastor was remarkable and very personable. And one can not forget the view!! It is so beautiful! I would highly recommend this chapel for a romantic wedding. We did not stay at the resort; however, it did seem to be very cute.

The internet photos can not show the true beauty of this place and the great smokie mountains are breath-taking. Connie and Joyce were wonderful to deal with and made our day perfect. If you love the mountains or looking for a beautiful place to stay or get married Angels View and Black Bear Mountain Resort is the place.

We were married @ Angel's View Wedding Chapel, 6/10/09.And I must say was extremely impressed. There was much doubt in the beginning added alone with my wedding gitters, but everything went well. I brought nothing and was able to add in everything I needed to have one of the most memorable, beautiful wedding ever. My dress, his tux,the chapel, the pastor, doves, flowers, a makeover, pictures, DVDs, beautiful scenery, food catered into my cabin and a 4level cabin with a pool and all its luxuries. All-in -one, I was so PLEASED! with everything. Also a special thanks to Connie and her Daughter for there patience, guidance and understanding through it all. Would I recommend this place? I gotta say. with times as they are, you couldn't ask for anything better, you can't go wrong here. You've won me over for life!

We just got married at Angels View Wedding Chapel 06/30/2009. I was extremely pleased with our whole experience. Everything was perfect. The chapel and the scenery looks exactly like it does online. Breathtaking views! The staff was very easy to work with. They work with you to make sure everything you want in the ceremony is taken care of. Very easy planning and stress free. I would definitely recommend Angels View Wedding Chapel. Outstanding Job!!!

I got married at Angels View Wedding Chapel on 06/13/2009 and it was great! The staff that I worked with were wonderful on the phone and in person! I have been to other Tennessee weddings this one was by far the best!!! The preacher was wonderful making our ceremony personal. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a TN wedding with the personal touch. KUDOS!!!!! Connie, wanted to let you know that we recieved our wedding dvd. I was so surprised to open the package and see our picture on the front of the dvd. Todd and I were so excited to watch it. NO PHOTOS TO SHOW FOR IT,BAD DISK WE WHERE TOLD.THEY OFFERED THE WORLD TO COMPENSATE OUR LOSE VERBALLY BUT GAVE US ZERO.WE SPENT THE ENTIRE NEXT DAY RETAKING PHOTOS OF JUST HIM AND I OUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS GONE,,WE WHERE TOLD WE WOULD BE TAKING PHOTOS OFF SITE NEVER HAPPEN!
