The billing practices if this hospital are unethical. I learned this 7 years ago, but why I didn't learn my lesson- I don't know- I delivered my son at this hospital in 2005, and they entered some coding incorrectly, which caused me to have an extremely High bill.I called the billing/accounting department countless times and the first two times I was on the phone for an extremely long time and both Reps informed me that the coding was entered incorrectly- They told me this- I didn't ask- I took their names and when I called back a while later, because I got a bill from a collections agency- I was Rudely told by another Rep that they do not know who I spoke to in the past, but the information was incorrect, I therefore told them where they can put their bill- anyway, I recently went to their imaging dept for a mammogram and had a biopsy procedure and they billed me and I discovered that they billed me for the bill from 2005- I contacted the BBB, FTC, and the Attorney General of Texas to report them. I am not done, this is unethical and I refuse to sit back and let them do something like this, because if they did it to me- there is no telling who else they will do it to. I am not real concerned about the $237.00 dollars, I am concerned about their practices.

I would like to name this Las Colinas Medical Center as the C-Section hospital. I just had had an unnecessary c-section. For everyone, please avoid this hospital like the plague. I ignored the bad reviews and now regreted and going to be regreted for my entire life. They will do everything that generates largest possible bill. Do they care about your pain and sufferring - hell no!!

This was my second visit here having had an EGD a few years ago and both visits were excellent. The girl checking me in was very polite and professional and explained the paperwork I had to fill out and the copay was the exact amount she had quoted me when she called us two days before the procedure, so there were no financial surprises. I had filled out my clinical history on line and only had to wait about 5 minutes before the nurse came to get me. I was prepared for my colonoscopy without any problems, the nurses were very professional and put me to ease answering any questions I had. My procedure went well and I was in recovery before I knew it. My wife was informed of my progress during my stay and when it was time to go home, the nurse brought me out in a wheelchair to our car my wife had driven to the door and helped me in the car. This is a great facility, wonderful staff of nurses and I will continue to have any day surgery procedures with them.

The lady at the front desk was very rude and very annoying. I will never return to this facility and I will recommend that anyone I know not have anything also. They also demanded that i pay 1/2 up front or they would cancel the procedure. They didnt tell me about the cost until I got there. Noone called me to talk to me about it. The excuse "you number is disconnected." The Dr.'s receptionist gave you the right number. I was there when she called to schedule it. It was not disconnected you just didnt call! The preop nurse (nurse 1) was great! The postop nurse was not. Nurse 1 got all my history, tried to get an IV when she realized she could she let someone else do it. The postop nurse on the other hand was a completely different story. After surgery in the recovery I asked did they have to do the procedure open? She said no it was scope. When I went to change clothes i saw 1 scope incision and 1 4 inch incision. It was not all scope!!! She sent my husband to get the car and left me ALONE to get dressed. I was still out of it from the anesthesia and they had given me a few pain meds... why leave someone alone. I pulled the string in the bathroom because I was ill and NOONE came. I was in need of help. After throwing up in the bathroom I opened the door to find a wheelchair sitting there waiting for me. WITHOUT the brakes on. So when I tried to sit it moved. Five minutes later a nurse saw me in the wheel chair and went to get her. I asked for nausea medicine since I felt like i was going to be sick again and she acted as if it was the most difficult thing in the world. Then on our way out she hit the wall 3 times with the wheel chair and made the comment "I guess I should have my license revoked for these things" and chuckled about it. She also made me walk unassisted to my car from the door. I gave them an extra star because they were able to start an IV in under 5 tries, which is hard on me

The services were mostly competant, the personnel behind it all, absolutely not! Arrogant, uncooperative, and completely unprofessional. I'm investigating pursuit of a claim of fraud. They billed for something that was not done and have refused to provide any backup to their claim after several requests, and then turned it over to a collection agency. The unfortunate thing is that my OB/GYN, Cynthia Mace-Motta, is a co-owner in the facility and has done nothing to intervene. I had to drop her as my doctor and find someone new who did NOT use this facility for their outpatient surgeries.
