I never even liked Thai food until somebody *made* me go to Thai Basil. The entrees have the perfect amount of flavor and they will make your dish at whatever level of spiciness you like. The Thai Basil signature dish (Pad-Ga-Pao) is excellent, if you like a little spice you should try it. If you're a little more spice apprehensive, there's BBQ chicken with a sweet sauce that's very good as well. I love this place for lunch, and it's very affordable with just the right size entrees, as well as tasty soup. If you like Thai food, or are even just wanting to try, go to Thai Basil and you won't be disappointed.

A great little restaurant
by R. K.
This is one of the nicest places for dinner near the university- it's small and out of the way enough that the college crowd mostly passes it by, but the food and atmosphere are great. I believe that this is run by a Thai family, and the decor and menu are very authentic. It's pretty small, so you might want to try it out on a weekday night to see how you like it.
Good for a quieter meal or a date (if you actually want to hear each other speak). It's also really reasonably priced.

I was driving by & gave them a try. I will definitely go back. It is a small place by the college with a crisp clean feel. The food was really good & the ingredients were very fresh. Fabulous Thai Tea...mmmmmm!

You gotta try the yellow curry!
by Eden S.
Let me just say that I have never had a better yellow curry, the sauce is so creamy and flavorful, it just melts in your mouth! You better get there early for lunch because its packed. The service is great, the owner is friendly, you just can't beat this neighborhood gem!

A small place but very good food. Even the atmosphere feels like you're in a different place. I was pleased by its cuisine. Be careful when you ask how hot and spicy you want it to be.

The food and portions are perfect. I have never been dissatisfied with their service either. The place is small and is busy during lunch time, but it's well worth the wait. They serve a complimentary small salad with a delicious dressing or sweet & sour soup, depending upon the season/time of day. It's complimentary, so you can't complain about the choice. They even have delicious desserts as well. Overall, I'm very impressed with the establishment. The owner even recognizes and acknowledges returning customers (and remembers orders as well). Their Thai Basil speciality is recommended, along with the garlic prawns.
PROS: Great food, service and price.
CONS: Small location, parking limited when busy.
