Daniel Behroozan, MD, FAAD

I've been a patient of Dr. Behroozan for 2 years and can say with absolute confidence that he is the best dermatologist I've ever had- hands down. Dr. Behroozan is 'up' on the latest in skincare, is thorough, and treats his patients with first class care. He takes a personal interest in each patient and will work with you to find realistic, affordable solutions. As an added bonus, his staff is wonderful and will always work to accommodate your schedule for an appointment. Five stars do not do justice.

Fantastic. We come from Texas to see him. I have been having problems that nobody else has ever diagnosed!! We are now coming back to see him again for my husband, from Texas. California is way better than Texas with healthcare!

It took me about 5.5 minutes to realize I can stop searching. Seems Dermatology isn't a crowded specialty in West LA. I've been to 6 dermatol's in 3 years and Dr.B is the ONLY one who's brilliant AND solution-driven AND personable COMBINED.

He's the smartest, the fastest thinker, the most respectful, most unpretentious and explores all options. No concern is trivial. I repeat: No concern is trivial. .

I'm a Senior and he shared info I never heard before. Sounds corny, but they all seem happy to be there, doing what they're doing. That speaks volumes.

I confer with all the positive reviews, and was compelled to write on to offset the surprising negative review.He is an expert in Mohs and as good as they come in all general dermo fields. Most importantly he truly cares, about you health, your appearance, and your pocket book.He is great doctor and good man. Consider your self lucky if you fall into his care. I drive 50 miles to see him.

I have seen Dr. Behroozan twice now in the Santa Monica office. His staff is friendly and helpful. He diagnosed my condition quickly and offered several different treatment methods. Dr. B also made sure I understood the pros and cons of each treatment. Unlike my previous doctor, he advised against a costly treatment for my age/sun spots. He cares more about the end result and making sure the patient is satisfied and much less about selling you on the latest or most expensive treatments.

I highly recommend Dr. Behroozan for anyone seeking a trustworthy skilled dermatologist who will treat your problem without draining your bank account.

Having picked this place out at random from the insurance company's directory, based on nothing more than proximity to my home, I felt a pang of dread when I visited Google maps and realized the place is on a stellar-looking stretch of Hollywood Blvd opposite the crackhead-laden 99 Cent Only store.

I contemplated canceling the appointment but stayed strong.

The office's location and the space itself is nothing to rave about. Certainly on the homely, "aesthetics-of-despair" side (flourescents and all), but this is Hollywood, folks. It's a pretty serviceable satellite (he is based mainly out of his Santa Monica location) and gets the job done.

My visit was beyond pleasant. Service was provided promptly with minimal waiting around. Behroozan is very gregarious, lively, and approachable, but not in an overkill sort of way. He communicates clearly and effectively with his patients. I was really satisified with my experience here and have already referred others.

I felt I had to write a review of Dr. Behroozan after reading the one star review by Lenz below. While I can see the frustration caused by your rather large co-pay, I can say that from personal experience--and as a patient without health insurance--Dr. Behroozan has been more than helpful in treating me at the lowest cost possible, and has never attempted to rip me off.

He has been generous with sample medication and is sympathic and understanding in treating me without gutting my checkbook. I was very trepidatious about going to a specialist for my acne, because I was fearful that I simply couldn't afford the medication and repeated doctor visits. I am so glad that I chose Dr. Behroozan; his office and staff are calming, and he is down-to-earth and funny (and young, too). I realize that this review might come off sounding like a press release from his own office, but what can I say? I've been truly satisfied with him being my dermatologist. Please don't shy away from getting treatment with fears of him ripping you off--it's not warranted. Good luck everyone.

Dr. Behroozan is an excellent Dermatologist, and a nice guy to boot. After 4 visits over 30 days with a different Dr., I was frantic to remedy a very stressful skin condition. I found Dr. Behroozan via a referral from UCLA. His staff offered to get me right in when I told them my condition was acute. Within 10 minutes of arriving at his office, Dr. B told me what he thought it could be, and confirmed it shortly thereafter with biopsy results. His office support team are also exceptionally professional.

I highly disagree with the previous review - been to a lot of doctors and Dr. B is the only one who took the time to listen and take care of me - he has GREAT bedside manners - your review seems like you are angry that he drives a nice car .... don't you think he deserves at least that much after studying so many years in school? How do you know what kind of car he drives anyways - why does that matter? And if you think all the doctors in this country are so bad, why do you go to them? Dr. B is one of the most respected and reputable doctors in this town - I woundn't go anywhere else!

All I can say is that he really is one of the best doctors I have ever seen. He is extremely smart and friendly. He got rid of my rash, found a skin cancer on my ear (which he did Mohs on) and did the Fraxel laser which made my skin look ten years younger.

I've sent all my friends and family to him and they have all been extremely happy with him as well.

FYI...his Santa Monica office is beautiful!!!!!

I have been everywhere and Dr. Behroozan rocks...He was an instructor at UCLA before he left to go into private practice and I am grateful he did...now I can see him in his private clinic without a bunch of medical students around. He is by far one of the smartest doctors I have ever meet, and he is really down to earth...a difficult combination to find. THank you for everything
