If all you want is a car to drive around and you don't really care about what kind then I would recommend Avis rent a car. I prefer to use other companies just because you get more for what you pay that I just don't get with Avis. First of all, they do not have a lot of local offices therefore, your limited to convenience. Upgrades at avis is unheard of.
Go see Steve for all of your car rental needs. We always book through him when we are going away. He gets the best deals and it is always waiting when I land wherever I am going.
I have used this Avis office when I have needed a car - they are GREAT - they book what you need and when you arrive at your destination the car and paper work is waiting for you - I only had one problem with the office at JFK airport in New York - if you are not going to use their insurance plan all drivers will need a major credit card and of course a valid drivers license - beside this one problem I have not had any other problems - Great staff - friendly and helpful - Yes I would use them again at the Howard Street location.
