Love this place, they know what they are doing. I have thick hair and most places don't know how to cut my hair and mess it up bad, I leave other places crying a lot of the time. But Andrea cuts my hair and I never have to worry that she will mess it up or do something I didn't ask for. I even sent my daughter here because she got to a point that she wouldn't even let anyone cut her hair, because she had it messed up so many times before. She was thrilled and said she has never had a better cut.

I began researching McKinney hair salons about three months prior to my move to the area. Finding a hair stylist always makes my stomach turns which is why I've only had about 4 regular stylists in 18 years. I fell in love with Rene's passion for cancer patients; however, she was not currently accepting new clients. She did refer me to one of her stylists in the salon, Nicole Benton. She did an awesome job on my hair!

The salon is fair and really strives for client satisfaction. They take time to listen to what you want, discuss it and then provide an excellent experience. If you aren't happy, they don't want you to leave unless you are.

I was walking around with a pony tail for months due to a bad hair cut. I have trouble hair that is super thick, curly wavy and no one ever knows what to do with it. I am always nervous about anyone messing with my hair - and here I was so happy and comfortable the entire time. She went out of her way and bent over backwards to make me comfortable...from going over what she was going to do with my hair, to the awesome wash (mmmm good scrubbing) and the cut, which to do it "right" she said for my hair, had to be straightened out and then cut again. So it wasn't an easy job and she really went out of her way to do it right the first time and those are the people that always impress me the most and will ALWAYS get my return business and my referrals.

I have lived my entire life with problem hair. My poor family genes have given me thin, baby fine, and sparse hair. Rene worked a miracle on Friday and created a style that not only looked elegant, but made me feel elegant as well. You are definitely a master at what you do!!!!

I have been to Rene's and really enjoyed her salon as well as her staff. It is a very welcome environment with friendly people that really want to help you look and feel your best.

I've had my hair done by Rene and really enjoyed how she pays attention to what you want, I've got long hair and love going to a hair specialist that doesn't go "scissor happy" with my hair.

This is the perfect salon. I have never gotten a bad haircut or color. Rene' is very knowledgeable and she keeps up with the latest trends and styles. The prices are equal to other upscale salons in the area. If you're looking for a great haircut and color, this is definitely the salon to come to.

I arrived at the salon after there normal hours which was fully my mistake however a stylist was there still and offered her help. I had gotten a haircut at a diffrent place a few days prior but the other place had not finished the cut! So they took me in and finished it for me! Thanks!

Great people, lots of talent and they really know how to treat you. I came in without an appointment, late at night and the owner was closing up. I was in a real bind and needed help. She stopped what she was doing and happily said yes. When she was done I was amazed. She did exactly what I wanted and better than any stylist had done my hair before. I will never use anyone else again.

PROS: Very friendly, all the stylists are great and talented.
CONS: None
