I had an LAVH(Laparoscopic Assisted Vaginal Hysterectomy) surgery 2 weeks ago by Dr. Kramer. I feel so lucky that I found him. He did an amazingly great job.
2 months ago, I was told by my former obgyn that I needed an abdominal hysterectomy. The recovery time is 4-6 weeks. When I found out LAVH is a more advanced way, I called my obgyn's office. The nurse there said I was not a good candidate for LAVH since I had large uterine fibroid. My husband searched through internet and found Dr. Kramer. He was very friendly and confident. He said that I can have an LAVH. So I did. After the surgery, I suffered from nausea for 3 days. That's all! My wounds did not hurt at all. I only had 3 tiny cuts(1 cm each) on my abdomen. I recovered within the first week. Everything went well. If anyone needs a hysterectomy, I strongly recommend that you consider having an LAVH and talk to Dr. Kramer.

Dr Kramer is caring, empathetic, professional and extremely good at what he does. I recently had a hysterectomy to address excessive bleeding due to uterine fibroids. He took the time to explain all possible options and then recommended the LSH procedure (Laparoscopic Supracervical Hysterectomy) as the best option in my case. I am so glad that I went to him! My surgery went well and since this is a minimally invasive technique, so this reduces the risks of complications and helps in speedier recovery. Women who are considering hysterectomy should definitely check with their obgyn about LSH. If you do choose the LSH option, make sure your doctor has experience and is comfortable in performing this procedure. With Dr Kramer, I knew I was in good hands. Thanks to him, I am back to my active lifestyle again and feel like I got a new life!

I read the reviews about Dr. Kramer and I must say, they are very accurate. He is wonderful, caring and open! He is very very smart and confident so he didn't have to talk down to me. He explained things very simply and clearly. That was very important to me. He didn't rush through our appt and most of all, HE DIDN'T MAKE ME WAIT!!! That would have been enough to make me give him a second chance if he had blown it in any other areas, but he didn't. Then he mailed me (snail mail, not email) a handwritten note the next day. He is absolutely the most pleasant doctor i have ever had.

I was a little reluctant to see a male gynecologist, but Dr. Kramer was more compassionate than any women doctor I'd ever met. He took more time too, explaining why I had heavy periods and giving me different treatment options. If anything, he steered me away from hysterectomy. I was so relieved.

I did a Microwave Endometrial Ablation. That was about 3 months ago and I just have to share my story. Too many women don't know about this treatment for getting rid of heavy periods. Best of all I did it in his office at Women's Health Specialists, avoiding the anxiety and expense of trip to an operating room.

I highly recomend you visit him, even for your annual exam.

PROS: Compassionate, friendly, educating, & gentle
    CONS: none
